| Title: Belle Tori Too by Michelle Hoppe
Publisher: Liquid Silver ISBN: 1-59578-074-2 Genre: Contemporary Erotic http://www.liquidsilverbooks.com/ Rating: 4.5 Nymphs Reviewed: Irish Minx Jason (Jase) Hunter has been looking for Victoria (Tori) Lane for 4 long months! Hes had private investigators looking for her and yet hes still no closer to finding her. Hes left his business interests in New York and settled in her club and residence. Meanwhile Tori has spent the last 4 months in the Bahamas, thinking Jase would come after her right away. She doesnt realize that, within the swingers club atmosphere, she has complete anonymity. Jases private investigators have already checked at the hotel where shes been in hiding! When Jases best friend Sam Grimes hits the resort for his vacation, he never expected to find Tori but find her he does and calls Jase to tell him! Jase is in the air within an hour, on his way!! Once he lands and transfers to the limo, he gets stupid and drinks almost a whole bottle of vodka on his way to seeing Tori for the first time in 4 months! Tori is less than thrilled to see him, considering his condition! The road to reconciliation is rocky because of Jases behavior but he is determined. Tori is also determined but first she must forgive Jase. Will Tori and Jase be able to salvage their relationship?? Back at the club, there has been an unexpected visitor and a stunning revelation. Who is this visitor and how will this visitor affect Tori and Jase? For that matter, how will the Club be affected? I truly enjoyed this book and with the surprise ending that Ms. Hoppe has given us, Im sure there is more to come! Do yourself a favor and buy this sizzler, then allow yourself time to sit and savor but be prepared, Ms. Hoppe has written a wonderfully hot book with the yummiest Alpha hero and one of the best and boldest heroines! Both of them know exactly what they want and go after it! The secondary characters are terrific. Id love to see Sam and Pierre get their own stories! TITLE: BACKSTAGE AFFAIR Author: Erica DeQuaya ISBN: 1-59279-292-8 Publisher: Amber Quill Press www.amberquill.com Contemporary Erotic Romance Rating: 5 Nymphs Reviewed by: Border Minx Playwright Genera McCanton is gearing up for her first New York production. Though off Broadway, it is still critical to her career. She has fought hard to get to this point while not trading on her late fathers well known name. The fierce physical attraction she feels for one actor who auditions for the lead role catches her by surprise. She wants to hate him because the plays main financial backer is almost forcing her and her director to take him. So torn, she becomes a total bitch in dealing with him, the only defense she can find. Edward Aldins life has been managed by his much older sister since their parents died when he was still very young. Her former husband urged him into modeling when he wanted to go on stage. He came to hate it. Since the loss of his fiance on 9-11, he has been through a nervous breakdown and become a near-recluse. He knows this role is being handed to him to bring him out of the funk, but he vows to make good no matter what. Both the surge of attraction he feels for Genera and her determined hostility complicate his efforts. This is a marvelous romance. The main characters are tortured yet both are struggling to be strong and overcome their tragedies. The sexual attraction between them sends off sparks. When they finally come together, their union is incendiary. At times Genera is almost too brittle and abrasive but one understands her attitude since she has been cruelly hurt and fears a repeat performance. Edward, in spite of his baggage, is beautiful in every way. I usually read awhile after going to bed, but once I started this one, I could not set it aside as I normally do to be continued the next evening. It was well worth the loss of a couple of hours of sleep! Keep the tissues handy because there are some heart-rending moments. The wonderful characters and the vividly expressed emotions make this a true keeper |

| Title: Illuminati
Author: Jeya Jenson ISBN: 1-59836-017-5 Publisher: Venus Press www.venuspress.com Genre: Erotic Sci Fi-Fantasy Rating: 5 Nymphs Reviewed by: Border Minx Trina is a class three citizen of the community of New Haven. She works in a laboratory scanning artifacts from the world as it was before the nuclear holocaust of 2012 drove civilization underground. Now the only people who ever go out to the surface are a sequestered few who scavenge for the relics and materials the closed community requires. Trina and her friend and lover Darci steal some precious items which they sell on the black market to get a few scarce luxuries their meager salaries will not buy. Although she finds sex with Darci exciting, Trina is curious how it would be with a man. She also cherishes a secret dream to see the skysun, moon, stars and clouds. Police Lieutenant Wade Jeffries is reputed to be tough and by-the-book. In New Haven, the police provide "security" but mainly enforce the rules of the Illuminati, the top class regarded as almost divine by the lesser folk. Every facet of life is controlled by the Illuminati. Wade has watched Trina for some time. He longs to get to know her and perhaps make her his mistress. An opportunity arises when he finds one of his men harassing her. Trina soon gets her wish to find out how sex with a man can beand she likes it better than Darcis loving. Illuminati paints a stark portrait of life under a strict totalitarian regime. While second class citizens like Jeffries have some perks, the larger third class enjoys almost none. There is nothing to brighten the harsh, drab conditions of their lives. I commend the author for making a powerful political statement disguised as fiction, presented so subtly that it sneaks up on you. The characters are vividly real, the sex hot, and the ultimate tragedy heartrending. For me, this one is a keeper |
