This particular meeting is a heated discussion about the pros and cons of feeding on humans. One of the younger vampires suggests an �experiment� and the elders agree. Since Mikhail is so against the idea, he has been selected to undertake this �test�, with the assistance of his best friend, Marcos. Lauryn and her best friend are shopping for a bed for Lauryn�s house. They�ve come across an antique store that is open all night. It�s owned by Marcos and Mikhail is there. He knows immediately that she�s the one but he also realizes that he could never kill her, which creates a dilemma for Mikhail. In the meantime, Lauryn has a huge secret that she hasn�t shared with anyone and what a secret! I enjoyed this book tremendously until I reached the end, which came much too soon! It�s a fantastic story with twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat! Lauryn is such a great kick-ass heroine who protects those close to her and Mikhail is willing to take on all of the Vampires for Lauryn. I�m only praying that the author is planning to give us sequels to this story � I�d love to see Marcos have his own book!!! He will gladly give his life to save Jennifer but will also do almost anything to keep her at his side and get her in his bed. Jennifer is spirited and courageous. She wants to be sure no one else dies for the secret she holds. It already cost her beloved brother his life; she is not about to lose Diego also, just as she learns to love him. The Spanish Tracer blazes with hot sex that flows naturally out of the powerful attraction between the two leads and the aphrodisiac of the danger they continually face. There is also a strong action-laden plot to stitch the bedroom scenes together and bridge between them. The characters use realistically tough language but it fits the story. Packed with a lot of adventure on every page, it holds the reader�s attention from the first to the last. I was glad not to have to put it down until I had read it all! |
