Once aboard, Britton discovers that it is not only host for gold taken from the Boston treasury, it also has two comely passengers: Lady Patricia Merston and her Chinese servant, Mei. Britton escorts the two women to his ship for their own protection. Mutual attraction between the dissatisfied Lady Merston and Britton soon develop into romance. Regardless of his desires, however, Britton�s conscience warns him against truly trusting any Englishman, even the lovely object of his desire.
During the course of the battle to take the other British ships Mei also finds love. But there is more than just new beaus to think about for Mei and her Lady. For theirs is a very intimate relationship in its own regard. .
Liberty�s Lady is not a light read as far as erotica goes. Writer Montoya�s skill with language and knowledge of seafaring and of the historical times is impressive. It is Montoya�s intricate characterization, however, which most impressed this reviewer. So convincing and well-faceted were the characters �including most minor ones- that I was totally caught up in their stories.
I found the drama presented for Britton and Lady Merston very appealing. But equally appealing was the relationship between Lady Merston and Mei. Their affections for one another were explored with a sultry maturity. There was no �neat� ending for this story, and because the primary characters were so captivating, I am hopeful that the author will delight readers with further adventures for them. Liberty�s Lady is an alluring work of fiction, and my salute to the author for such a fine marriage of historical information and romance!

One thing she does find herself looking forward to is the auction, where unwanted slaves are sold for charity; even that bored her until the arrival of an untrained slave. Harley makes a spur of the moment bid for the man and snags him. Thus comes the challenge of taming the wild beast, and finding out who he is, and why he�s been beaten and tortured. Slowly the man she named Quinn starts to remember more about his past life. Can they both live with what they learn?
I read Mistress: An Awakening of a Soul in one sitting. Lady Blade writes with a very easy to read style, and the words just flowed off the page. I loved the characters: Harley and Sharon are strong, independent women, who also have the capacity for love and caring. Quinn was the perfect mysterious alpha, with a soft side for the woman he loves. There was an extensive flashback and while it didn�t detract from the story, I would have preferred if it had stayed in the present. The setting of the island resort was very easy to picture, and a lot of fun to read about. I believe Lady Blade will use it for more stories in the future. The ending was so beautiful that I cried. I highly recommend this book to everyone, but warn that it does include some forced slavery and violence by the villain. I will be looking for more from Lady Blade in the future.

In a strange surreal moment, Nyte witnesses the man turn into a wolf and engage in a fight with another creature.
Lucien Verdan De Millescant calls himself Jase. Appropriately, it means outlaw in his people�s language and that is what Jase is. He is a fugitive of the code that his people live by. The code is a miserable set of laws that all shapeshifters must live by but Jase doesn�t like the rules, he feels that by denying shapeshifters access to love with humans, they lose their humanity and revert to their beast nature.
Together they must fight Tristans, the chief guardian and Jase�s enemy. The boundaries between the good guys and the bad blurred to grey and at times, I wondered if there were any good at all. The whole story is almost dreamlike, and at times, it is hard to tell what is real. Set in an exciting world, NYTE�S FALL is pure erotica, don�t expect any romance. The ending was perfect, almost making fun of the traditional HEA. The writing is deep and expressive, drawing the reader into the book.
NYTE�S FALL deals with some horrible real life issues in graphic sexual and violent detail. There is incest, rape, gang rape, drugs, beatings, forced prostitutions, murder, and forced slavery. As an erotica it also contains violent BDSM and m�nage. This book is not for the faint of heart. Reese Gabriel has written a very dark book that is possibly more suited to male readers.
