Blade Kevlar has a job to do, rescuing prostitutes from their own bad choices, choices that would get them killed in the next twenty-four hours if he didn't spirit them away for a new life on one of Jupiter's moons.  Thea Stone also has a job to do, going under cover as a prostitute to track down the villainous swine who provides overdoses of prescription drugs to depressed women.

When their two worlds collide, Thea is rounded up as part of Blade's cargo.  She's sentenced to life on Jupiter, a life of marriage or sexual servitude her only options.  But Blade sees things in Thea that he's never found in another prostitute.  Honor.  Courage.  Strength.  Determination to beat him, no matter the cost, no matter the odds stacked against her.

Blade's admiration quickly turns to lust.  That's all his let it be.  He enjoys the attentions of the 21st Century female, sure that he'll be able to surrender her to the auction block when the time comes.  Thea isn't as certain that her feelings for Blade are only skin deep.  Always at the back of her mind, however, is the notion that she must return to her place and time to finish what she started.

At the risk of being played for a fool, Blade rescues Thea from the auction block, arranging for her purchase to serve his own needs.  Their time together is short by necessity as there is another mission which fuels Blade's travels, to find his wayward sister.  He leaves Thea behind with orders to stay where he put her, in his brother's care.

Thea is unable to comply with the wishes of a man who does not love her.  She arranges for a passage back to Earth on her own.  Blade returns in time to catch her and teach her a lesson she won't soon forget.  They reach an understanding yet it does little to stabilize their immediate future as both have obligations to fulfill.  And once more Blade must rescue Thea from certain death

Blade's Decree published by Changeling Press is the first in the Bonds of Justice series.  Blade and Thea have a chemistry that few couples can produce.  Both tough and hardened by life, they manage to steal each other's hearts without weakening the spirit that houses them.  It's a delicate balancing act, to let two such headstrong people have their own way without forcing one or the other to yield, yet Elayne Venton skillfully manages to do just that.

I strongly recommend that any reader interested in an excellent story with convincing characters and out-of-this-world sex read
Blade's Decree.

Rayne Deveau is a Cajun beauty with many talents, not the least of which is delivering a strong electric slap to any man that touches her while lust lingers in his heart.  Only one has that right, thanks to a curse placed on her by her well-meaning grandmother.  A sweet smelling man Rayne hasn't yet met.

Remy Doucette had no intention of being Rayne's man or anyone else's.  The delectable bayou sheriff had enough women to keep him satisfied.  But one look at Rayne spilled across her grandmother's kitchen floor and his body took a deep interest that only Rayne could satisfy.

Rayne has many surprises in store for Remy.  She has many magical talents, a legacy from her parents.  Unfortunately, magic alone is not enough to prevent her from getting into harm's way.  A second attempt at kidnapping is no more successful than the first, thanks to Rayne's abilities to levitate objects and mentally converse with her lover, Remy.  However, no one, not even Rayne, believes the attempts will stop until the kidnapper gets what he wants.

Remy has a hard time accepting that his new flame can fix breakfast without leaving her bed.  He rejects her love, thinking he'd be better off without a witch in his life.  Or his bed.  But Rayne attracts trouble almost as well as she does undesired suitors and that's a fact that, as Sheriff, Remy can't ignore.

Before long, Rayne is taken hostage along with her not-so-frail grandmother.  Remy and his men must find them before their captor can spirit them away to become his most treasured lab rats  These two, strong ladies are well on their way to freeing themselves when Remy locates them.  However, not even Rayne can stop a speeding bullet

Think I'm going to tell you how it ends?  Mais, non!  Read Electric Rayne published by Venus Press to find out for yourself.  I promise you'll fall in love with Remy Doucette the first time he enters the picture.  Rayne Deveau is his equal in her own way.  Together the two have a chemistry that goes beyond magical.  This novella by J.J. Massa will not disappoint a reader looking for a hot, magical time in Cajun country.

Cynthia Harrison is about to be wedded to Jack Brightman, a man that, as she nears the altar on her wedding day, strikes her as a particularly bad choice for a husband.  As the ceremony progresses, her thoughts stray to a man she'd only met once as she served him lunch.

Dylan Medea del Casseras had come a long way--a very, very long way--to get the woman of his dreams.  The fact that he has to snatch her from under her groom's nose only made the prospect more entertaining.  Talking her into submitting to his plan became another thing entirely.

It takes some time and a lot of fast talking, but the couple makes their way up into the stars and a new future, together.

Here Goes the Bride from Venus Press starts out with a new twist on the reluctant virgin theme.  Instead of dragging her to the altar, Cynthia is dragged away, into a world of magic and endless possibilities.  Dylan is the embodiment of romance:  a strong-willed, incredibly handsome man who moves heaven and earth to get to the woman he's chosen for his mate.  At the heart of the story is a sexual tug of war, each willing the other to be the first to give in.  Aurora Rose Lynn has created a new twist on the traditional romance that will delight and entertain many readers.

The year is 2275 and Earth is a different place, broken and brutal after nuclear blasts took out civilisation.  Kat is a treasure hunter.  She looks for electronic junk that belonged to the old world and sells it to junk dealers.  With her partner Damien behind her on a bike, they only hunt in the hours of daylight.  At night the Raiders come, and they are not to be messed with.  Its hard to be a woman in these times but Kat has learned to be strong, and shes great in a fight.  Kat and Damien do not have a normal relationship.  She bargained for him from a junk dealer, and he became her partner in hunting and in bed but she is clearly in charge.

When Kat and Damien find out that fellow hunter, Hades, is going after the Monolith, they decide to try and get there first.  The journey will be fraught with dangers, as they must enter the vanquished city.  They need to find Darquiel, a guide who has been to the horrible city before.  Hades wont give the guide up without a fight.  Can they all find a way to work together, and come back alive with the treasure?

Hell Kat is dark romance at its best.  The setting is dark:  apocalyptic Earth still trying to recover two hundred years after disaster.  The characters are dark:  Kat is strong, independent, sexy, and tough.  Hades is a true alpha, and sexy as hell.  Together they will melt your screen.  Each twist and turn of the story left me reeling, and I never knew what was coming until it smacked me in the face.  The surprises were simply awesome.  The action was intense, and the story flowed smoothly throughout.  Dark and dangerous, beautifully written the non-traditional ending had me in tears, and suited the story well.  I highly recommend Hell Kat, and will be looking for more from Vivi Anna in the future.
