Sapphic Visions is a collection of short stories that all revolve around lesbian and bisexual situations that the women in the stories find themselves in. Each story deals with most women�s most intimate fantasies and brings them together brilliantly. Houston deals with an array of different feelings and attitudes, ranging from women that are completely at ease with their sexuality to women who are scared of their feelings because of the taboo�s taught to them from a young age. Needless to say every story finds women realizing their fantasies to the fullest extent. Sapphic Visions is definitely not for the faint at heart!
Houston brings her characters to life so well you can close your eyes and can see the story play out before your eyes. I wasn�t disappointed with any scenario she created and was reeling for more when I finished the book.

Lilly takes her boyfriend Barry to look at the new house she has bought. The Garden is overgrown and will require a lot of time and effort to transform it to its former beauty. Lilly is excited about the project, and thinks the garden has wonderful potential. Her relationship with Barry ends when he is less than enthusiastic about the project, and lets Lilly know that she can�t count on him for help. One tree in particular calls to Lilly, and she thinks it is magical. As she reflects on the garden, she is visited by the Dryad who lives there. Gwinner is happy that Lilly sees beauty in the garden. She sets about helping Lilly explores her sexuality, and showing her what a beautiful thing their love and life together could be.
Lilly has never been with a woman before Gwinner, and is at first unsure that she can love another woman. Gwinner explains that most Dryads prefer women, as they are so much more gentle and loving than a man. Lilly must overcome her doubts to fully give herself to Gwinner. The love happens very quickly, Dryads do not hesitate when these feelings come upon them.
Green Dreams is a wonderful lesbian romance. The story is gentle and loving, as Gwinner slowly guides Lilly to recognize her feelings. Their sex scene was loving, and extremely hot � with a surprising twist causing Gwinner to pull back and make Lilly wait to experience more. Ms Pray has created a wonderful Dryad, exposing old myths that some humans believe, and confirming others; her version of a Dryad is beautiful. I found the use of senses in this book to be amazing as I experienced through the characters how things felt, tasted, and smelled. This is the first story of Terri Pray�s that I have read, but I will be looking for her longer works. I don�t hesitate to recommend this to everyone.

Distraught by the loss of his three sisters, M�el�n leaves the safety of his underwater home to find some solitude in which to grieve. While dark thoughts distract him, he's netted by a Scottish fisherman and his son. M�el�n soon learns that these are not the people who murdered his sisters, but they harbor no love for merfolk, thinking them demons. He is imprisoned in a fish tank and left to consider the many fates worse than death that could befall him.
Caera, the fisherman's daughter, looks after M�el�n while her father and brother fetch the Archbishop who knows how to handle such demons. She discovers there is much more to M�el�n than the soulless monster her father claims him to be. Though neither can explain the attraction they feel for the other, Caera and M�el�n act on their desires.
One night is all it takes for M�el�n to realize he's in love with the human woman. A relationship between the two of them would be very complicated, so he attempts to set himself free of her and the tank. The attempt fails, and Caera rescues him. Unfortunately, freedom is still out of his grasp when the men return.
Plans are made to murder M�el�n and Caera must act quickly to save the merman she's grown to love. Caera's courage saves M�el�n from certain death, but her love is not enough to keep them together. Guilt over the actions she took to set M�el�n free weighs heavy on her heart, and she forces him to return to his underwater world without her.
Is that how it ends? Of course not! You'll have to read OCEANBOUND by Lacey Savage to find out the rest.
Ms. Savage's novella, OCEANBOUND, from Amber Quill Press blends mystery, romance and a bit of humor to form an entertaining story. Passionate sex between woman and merman gives a whole new meaning to the term deep sea diving. It's a great read, and I hope Ms. Savage continues to net us more underwater gems like OCEANBOUND.
