TITLE: Kiss of the Fairy As matchmaker for Irish folks the world around, Siobhan is very successful. She has just seen the fourth of the five O’Neil brothers wed. Now she must find Patrick’s match and get them together. The Book of Love shows no one as Patrick’s fated mate, an unprecedented situation. After consulting with the Goddess Brigid, Siobhan, in the guise of a human woman, goes to meet Patrick and find out what is wrong. Patrick is happy enough, busy running his Boston pub, and only a bit disappointed that every woman he has met hasn’t been quite right. When a gorgeous redhead enters his pub on St. Patrick’s Day, he thinks luck may be with him. At the very least, he can enjoy the pursuit. When he talks to her he soon learns she is full of mysteries. She also quickly gets intoxicated, so he takes her home to keep her safely off the streets. When they connect, Siobhan and Patrick generate enough heat to distill a tank car full of Irish whiskey. In the throes of passion, the magic that makes Siobhan appear human fades so Pat sees her in all her ethereal glory. Now the jig is up. What can she do but give up and go home? Patrick has other plans, though, and it appears that Brigid does too. A cute, sizzling and well-executed romp of a modern fairy tale, Kiss of the Fairy is a perfect St. Patrick’s Day read. Siobhan and her pixie cousin are very believable and not too different from their human counterparts. They, too, admire good looking males and long for love. Patrick is a sexy hunk of a hero with a tender heart. What more could a woman ask for? I recommend Kiss of the Fairy to lovers of light erotic romance, especially one flavored with a yummy bit of blarney green. |
