Title: Indigo Winds: Seven Sins and Virtues Series: Kindness Do you like reading a romance that takes place on the high seas? Do you like your heroes to have some “bad boy” characteristics? Do you like your heroines to be strong and resourceful? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then Indigo Winds is the story for you. Indigo Winds starts out in England where Ashton (Ash) and Mercy meet at a ball. They are immediately attracted to each other and don't wait long to act on that attraction. After an intense sexual encounter, they part ways. Each has his own reason for not getting involved, but they both remember their night of shared passion and think of it often during the time they are separated. When this couple meets again, Ash is a privateer in the Caribbean and Mercy is the promised bride of another man. Of course, it's not an easy road to “happily ever after” and there are several twists and turns in the plot before Ash and Mercy can finally be together. Ms. Williamson wraps up the story very well and ties up all the loose ends for the reader. There were several things at the end that this reader did not see coming. Everyone got what they deserve and this reader was very happy about that. Ms. Williams did a great job of developing her main characters and adding in some secondary characters to thicken the plot. Her sex scenes were well done and realistic (i.e. the first time a woman has sex might be a little awkward, and anal sex might not be so pleasurable the first time you do it). This story is a pleasant read that anyone who likes a little adventure with their romance will enjoy. |
