Title: Forsaken Calli knew what she was doing was wrong and she would punished dearly for leaving her home and tracking the vampire.Born and raised as a member of the Seralin she knew all the rules and she yet she'd always challenged the way of the Order. Her teacher repeatedly reminding her of her place and Calli did try desperately to do as he said. But once she read the words in the diary of the vampire she became obsessed with knowing him. Now that she's seen the vampire she knows where she belongs and can't ever go back to the Seralin. The question is what will her decision cost everyone? He knew he was being followed but he never would have dreamed it would have been a Seralin, especially not in Los Angeles. However, now that Marcus has met her he couldn't get far enough away from her. Even a small thought echoed through his mind and he knew what she desired but mean the end for the both of them. Finally realizing he can't resist her anymore Marcus decides to face whatever ill fate falls upon them. I do think this may be one of the best vampire stories I've read in awhile. The author's plot is rich with drama and intrigue that draws you into the story quickly. Definitely a great story! |
