Title: Descendants of Darkness Descendants of Darkness explores the lives of various vampires living in enchanting New Orleans. They battle every night to survive and struggle with the cravings each of them constantly face. Such as Alsonso who even though has met a friendly group of vampires that showed him not all vampires are horrific monsters, he still feels alone in his immortal existence. However Alonso soon finds his lifemate and is now complete. He also learns that even the most evil vampires can sometimes change their ways. Or Lucius who for centuries hasn't cared about any being other than himself realizes that he needs love in his life to be complete. However he faces never being happy when he finds that his lifemate is a werewolf which is forbidden. Even though the story for each vampire in Descendants of Darkness changes they all seek the same basic needs that will make them complete, eternal love. LaCroix has done it once again with vividly bringing all the characters in Descendants of Darkness to life like few authors can do. Not only are the characters and story line excellent and very detailed, but the sex scenes are about as hot as you'll find anywhere.
