When Miss Richards, chairman of the local council drops in for a visit, Seymour and Matilda have their work cut out for them. What will Miss Richards do to their flourishing business? Add a hidden secret treasure and things really get interesting. A funny read from start to finish. I did get a bit lost with the cast of characters a couple of times but soon found my way again. By the end of the story all the loose threads were nicely tied up. For a fun ride, and crazy moments, Abandon All Hope is a story you don�t want to miss. One is from the �Big Boss�, Jaden Zenusera, so she opens it to find a picture of him in the buff in bed asleep! Later, she forwards it to her home account, for drooling purposes only, but that small act will only bring her trouble!! When she gets home, she checks out the email and finds��something totally different! Jaden Zenusera is a very nasty most unusual being. Jessica is next on his list of �prey�. Now it�s up to Jessica to destroy Jaden - and his brother Aiden is going to show her how to do just that! Jessica is about to discover that she�s an �empathic telekinetic�. She and Aiden will work together to sharpen her skills. And as they work together, unexpected romance blooms. Rian Monaire gives us a story with a very interesting concept! I�ll admit this is not my normal type of book but I enjoyed it tremendously. I sympathized with Jessica as she tries to assimilate everything that�s happening to her. Aiden is a good guy, with a wicked sense of humor and Jaden is a creepy demon �bad guy�. The writing was crisp and witty, but be prepared for a �surprise� ending. |
