Lord Of The Rings

The Lord of The Rings is a phenominal story. J.R.R. Tolkein is such a genius. For a person to make something of the sort that Tolkein they must have and awsome imagination. When he wrote the Lord of the Rings Tolkein had to make a land, a language, and a story. I have just recently seen the last and final motion picture of LOTR (The Return of The King)and for anyone who has yet to see it, I highly recomend that you do so as soon as possible. The Return of the King was so phenominally grand that it brought tears to my eyes. That may sound a bit odd but truely it did. This story is more than just any old book series and the movies have enhanced it even more and I do believe that they were like memorials to honor Tolkien.

A FEW FROM THE CAST OF LOTR

Elijah Wood
Wood plays Frodo Baggins the hobbit in the LOTR films. He is the carrier of The One Ring. Is the best friend of Sam Wise and is the nephew of Bilbo Baggins.

Billy Boyd
Boyd plays Pippin the hobbit in the LOTR films. He is the cousin of Merry. Boyd is part of the fellowship that guides Frodo with the ring to be distroyed

Ian McKellen
McKellen plays Gandalf the grey and Gandalf the white. He is a wizard/sorceror. He is the main leader of the fellowship for a good part of the journey.

Dominic Monaghan
Monaghan plays Merry the hobbit cousin of Pippin. He is part of the fellowship of the ring. He helps to fight for the freedom of middle earth along with the rest of the fellowship.

John Rhys-Davies
Davies plays Gimli the dwarf. He is by far my favorite character. He is part of the fellowship of the ring. Is a warrior.

Viggo Mortenson
Viggo plays Aragorn the ranger. He is the Hier to the throne of Gondor. He is in love with Arwen the daughter of the Lord of Rivendell the elf city. Aragorn leads the fellowship through many obstacles.

Liv Tyler
Liv plays Arwen an elf who is in love with Aragorn. She saves Frodo's life and marrys Aragorn and becomes the queen of Gondor. She gives up sailing off into the undieing lands so that she could stay with Aragorn.

Orlando Bloom
Bloom plays Legolas the elf. He is part of the fellowship and is and expert at using the bow and arrow. He takes part in the majority of the battles in the LOTR trilogy.
