I can't be arsed to actually design a website of my own... but here are some links to some sites with slightly more content than this one. I apologise for the bland looking list... but to do anything fancier would take up far too much of my time which should be devoted to procrastination.
Links to sites about my favourite band - TEXAS
Texas Official Site - The fanciest it's ever looked. Even if the layout was largely ripped off from Dirk's site.
Texas In Demand - a fantastic Fan Site with loads of photo's, articles, lyrics, news, and much more. And apparently it's the band's favourite website too...
Texas On Line - Another Fan Site
Tex@snet - Yet another Fan Site
Alison's Texas Site - A site listing Alison's Texas CD Collection.
PYAAT - A nice, friendly Email list for fans of Texas.
GWYW - Another friendly Email list for Texas fans, though this one has slightly more of a gay slant, everyone is welcome.
SWYW - One of the original discussion lists for Texas started by the So Called Friends. This list is for general discussion purposes about Texas.
Texas-news - The other mailing list started by the So Called Friends. This list is for the purposes of posting news and information about the band rather than general discussion.
WWAT - A pre-cursor to PYAAT.
Southside's Homepage - Southside are Texas's tribute band - and great!
IMDB - The Internet Movie Database. The most useful website in the world. Find almost out almost anything you want to know about almost any film, actor, director, etc.
Cold Feet Official Site - The official site of my favourite TV show, Cold Feet Cold_Feet - Small Email discussion list for Cold Feet Disabilityfilms.co.uk - A website with lots of lists about films which feature disability to some extent in their storyline. Excellently detailed listing... but I'm slightly dubious about some of the films they would "recommend"
Comedy Links
Chortle - Excellent source of information about all things comedic going on in Britain including Bio's of comics, tour dates and club listings.
Rhona Cameron's Biog - Info about the Scottish funny woman on her managers website.
Pleez Don't Rhona Way - Ickle Yahoo Group about the delightful Rhona Cameron.
Mel & Sue's Official Site - Rarely updated (though they claim on the site to being the World's Laziest Double Act), but has interesting biographies, lovely photo's and amusing column's that they've written. Also you can sign up to join their mailing list where they'll send you Email's occasionally saying things like "Vote to evict Mark Owen from Big Brother" or "Please watch RI:SE or even come and be in the audience". Love them.
The Cakeshop Mel & Sue message board. Look out for the occasional post from the lovely Sue herself.
Yet another Yahoo! Group - This one is devoted to the lovely Mel & Sue
Emma Kennedy - Read her blog, marvel at her photo's of people in hats, post in her guestbook and sponsor her to run the London Marathon in 2004.
Mitch Benn - His official site with upcoming gig dates etc.
Ed Byrne - The website of the guy who is responsible for what is my favourite bit of observational humour ever. No matter how many times I hear his routine about getting out of bed in the morning, it never fails to make me laugh.
Comedy Camp - Excellent lesbian & gay comedy club in Soho.
The Comedy Store - The legendary comedy club.
BBC Ticket Unit - Where to go to get tickets for free funny things!
Things I Do
FOCUS - I've volunteered for them since I was 16, and I was a participant before that. Almost all of the most amazing things I've ever done have been on FOCUS projects. Everyone should do one.
Crisis - I volunteer for their Open Christmas every year now too.
Other Random Sites
The Guardian - News website. For when you're feeling like a current affair. What you do with hot cross buns is your own business... don't Email me about it.
The Brittle Bones Society - The Website of the first UK organisation for people with Osteogenesis Imperfecta.
Facts about Osteogenesis Imperfecta CNPS Rules - You know you want to start spotting car number plates - here's where you go to find out exactly how to do it.
CNPS.org.uk - The official home of all things CNPS.
If you've got or know of a site that you think should be listed here then Email me and let me know. I can't guarantee that I'll list it here (I'm so lethargic about replying to Emails)... but I can guaruntee that if I do include it, it won't lead to much/any extra traffic cos this is possibly the worlds least interesting and least visited website.
