Morning

			Awake before the sun
			Watching her sleep
			I pull up soft sheets
			Over softer skin

			And reflect
			None see her beauty
			She's just a friend
			Always there
			But I see it
			The passion,
			The humor,
			The love
			I know that spot
On the back of her neck
			A kiss, a little nip
			Makes her moan

			My lover wakes
			A sleepy smile
I give her a morning kiss
			Desire darkens her eyes
			So I willingly oblige
			Skin against skin
			Every inch touched
			She tumbles first
			And brings me along with

Passion still clings to the air
I hold our damp bodies close
			And smile
