To Love
on a cold winter night,
i wish to have some one beside me,
keeping me warm, holding me tight,
while sitting along the seashore,
watching the stars shining bright,
and silently wishing for a future,
full of love, full of light.
i do have a very simple dream,
as simple as you can see,
i don't aspire for riches,
not for fame, nor for glory,
all i wish is to have someone,
who will love and stay beside me,
and of whom i can spend my life,
for forever...and a day.
but this someone that i longed for,
is still yet to be found,
and i wonder where to find him...
from afar or just from around,
for he might also be in the heavens above,
or here on the ground,
or at the end of the rainbow...
or maybe from beyond.
but just the same, Someone,
i'll keep on waiting for you,
and when you're already here,
i'll forever love you,
hand in hand we'll face
whatever comes every tomorrow,
no matter it may be,
happiness, pain or sorrow.
