why do we persecute people
for how they look or dress
look at all the sadness
that we bring or express
aren't we all human?
does religion really make a difference
does color really matter
does it make them happy
to see their hearts shatter?
aren't we all human?
how do we all feel
when we are made fun of for who we are
we would do anything to make them stop
even wish upon a star
aren't we all human?
if we forget the outside
and only look within
can you imagine the beautiful world
we would live in?
