I discovered "Avonlea" on the Disney Channel in 1990. A more perfect family show I have yet to find. It is my ultimate favorite and I am dedicating this website to all of the wonderfully talented people who brought it to life.
Avonlea was on the air for 7 years for a grand total of 91 episodes and one 2 hour special(Happy Christmas Miss King). It is currently being shown Monday through Friday on the Odyssey Channel in the U. S. and on CBC in Canada (as Road to Avonlea).
