     ~BENOIT'S POV~

My eyes slowly flutter open and I'm surprised to find myself cradled in Chris' arms. He has
fallen sound asleep and his head is bent down, allowing his long blonde hair to fall over my face
     and tickle my nose.

God, he's beautiful. I could just lie here and watch the rise and fall of his chest, but a clicking noise
outside, followed by the back hatch door being opened, catches my attention.

"Chris," I whisper in an attempt to wake him without a lot of noise.

He stirs and frowns. I can tell he hadn't planned on falling asleep. He looks down at me as he
brushes his long blonde hair back. "So, how does it feel to be someone's prisoner?" He asks with a
     smirk.

I frown, biting my tongue, forcing myself to remain silent. I still can't believe that I, Chris Benoit,
had fallen in love with a Federation pilot. I was born Alliance, brought up to hate everything about
the Federation and the Ministry, but here I am head over heels in love with him.

"Answer me," Chris hissed, tilting my head so that I had to look at him.

"I don't care as long as I'm with you," I whisper.

The look on his face was priceless, but for a moment, I thought he would shove me away. He
looked deeply into my eyes searching for any trace of malice or deceit. When he found none, he
     leaned in for a kiss.

"DON'T MOVE!" A male voice growls.

We both turn to see a dark-haired Federation soldier aiming a phaser at us.

"What took you guys so long?" Chris says as he slowly stands, gently laying me down, thinking
     he's here for his rescue.

"Don't move Alliance scum," the man hissed.

Chris looked at him confused and then realized that he had on an Alliance uniform.

"No, I'm Federation," Chris growled as he turned to the soldier.

"CHRIS!" I screamed as the soldier fired at him, knocking Chris back down beside of me.

I look into Chris' wide scared eyes. "Benoit?" He gasps.

I look up at the young soldier, "I'll kill you for this!"

The man merely chuckles. "Relax scum, the phaser was on stun."

I look down and Chris and sigh in relief as I see that he is indeed still breathing and there is no
     blood.

"So why did your "friend" have you cuffed up?" The young soldier asks as he cuffs Chris' hand to
     mine.

"None of your business," I growl.

He looks at me intently. "Sounds kinda kinky to me. Wait, I know you. I've seen a picture of you
at the base. You're Chris Benoit, the famous wolverine."

I roll my eyes as I look at him. Great, now they are going to send me back to earth and try to pick
my brain. To tell you the truth, I'll be lucky they don't kill me.

"Pick up your friend and carry him," he growls.

Young bastard. I could snap his neck and be rid of him, but I'm pretty sure he has a ship around
here somewhere and that's what I need to get Chris and me off this damn planet.

So I scoop the unconscious Chris into my arms and follow the young soldier. Giving him the
     illusion of being in control.

     ~MARCUS' POV~

I scoff at the seer and his female companion that stands before me.

"You may not believe us now Lord Marcus, but everything we've said is true," Raven said softly
as he reached out and held Nidia's hand.

I watched as she smiled at him.

"Why should I help the Federation? Vince sent two teams to kill my mate," I growl.

"But they failed and your mate and your unborn child lives," Raven argued.

"Child?" I growl. "How do you know about the child?"

Raven merely smiled. "It is foretold that he will be a kind and just leader of all three nations. But
if Austin is not stopped, he will die in your mates womb."

Adam gasps as he clutches my hand, looking at me pleadingly.

Everyone is startled as the doors to the council room swings open and two guards haul in a
     Federation soldier.

I smile as I see who it is.

"Rock, how nice of you to join us," I say amused.

"Stop playing games Marcus. You have to stop Austin. He's gone nuts and has a secret weapon
that can destroy whole planets," Rock growls.

I frown as I look down at my distressed mate.

"Help them," Adam whispers to me.

I look up at my three guests. "So be it."

     ~NIDIA'S POV~

I can't believe that he actually said that he'd help. I look up at Raven and he's smiling down at me.

Step one of our destiny is complete.

I remember back to earlier today when Raven had told Lita that they were through. It had been
one of the happiest moments of my life. Although the parting look that Lita gave me told me that
I hadn't seen the last of her.

"Come my love," Raven whispers, his voice soft and seductive as he takes my hand. Doesn't he
know that I would follow him anywhere.

I glance at Marcus' beautiful young mate. He looks so sad.

"Raven, may I talk to him?" I ask.

"It's up to Lord Marcus. He's very protective of him."

Marcus growls at me as I ascend the steps to his throne.

"May I talk to your mate for a moment?" I ask, bowing my head, showing the proper respects.

Marcus looks at Adam, who nods.

"You are distressed?" I ask as I kneel by him.

     "Scared."

"You miss your home, family and friends."

He nods, not daring to look at Lord Marcus.

I glare at Marcus. How could he cut off all of his mate's family ties.

"It's not his fault," Adam whispers. "It is Queen Trish's fault. She used me to bride Marcus into an
     alliance with her."

I frown. I sense his loneliness. I smile as I remember something that the Grand Seer at my village
     taught me.

I took Adam's hand into mine and laid it up on his slightly swelled abdomen. Using my powers, I
allowed Adam to hear his child as it moved in his womb.

"It's a boy!" Adam exclaimed happily, looking to Marcus, who grinned proudly.

"Yes, and a very healthy one," I said smiling as the child kicked. I sat there enjoying the glow of
happiness that surrounded Adam for several moments. He wasn't as alone as he thought he was.

I stood to leave and Marcus caught my hand. For a moment, I thought I was in trouble. "Thank
you," he whispered, just loud enough were only Adam and I could hear him, after all, he did have a
     mean reputation to uphold.

I smile and bow to him as I walk down into Raven's waiting arms.

"That was very nice of you Nidia. You took away his loneliness," Raven whispered as he held me
     close.

"As you do mine," I whisper.

     ~BRET'S POV~

I stare down at the young man that is cradled in my arms. He's so passionate, so beautiful, yet so
     innocent.

I know of Austin's plan to destroy Earth and Stratus as an example to the other planets.

I think of Lance's family that remains on Stratus and I can't allow that to happen.

I can't allow Austin's hatred of Vince to destroy two worlds.

"What's wrong?" Lance asks as he looks up at me.

"Nothing. Just thinking about saving the Universe," I whisper.

"I bet you could save it," Lance whispers, snuggling closer to my warm body.

He doesn't know it, but in order to save it, I will have to fight Austin and win. I silently pray that
I'm strong enough to do it.

     ~KURT'S POV~

I hope that Vince got my message. Austin has really lost it this time.

"What's wrong Kurt? Don't you want to see your precious Earth blown into oblivion?" Austin
     hisses in my face.

"It was your home, too. You were born there. You have family there," I say, desperately trying to
make him see reason, but he's too far gone.

"I have all I want right here," he growls as he pulls me closer to him, his face nuzzling against my
     neck.

I'm so scared that I'm shaking. What if he finds out about my transmission?

"Tell me that you love me Kurt," he growls as he gently begins to nibble and suck along my neck.

I stare blankly out of the window. I once thought that space was so beautiful. It had been a
passion of mine to study everything about it, but now I'm so numb that I don't think I will ever
find pleasure in anything. Even in those things I use to love.

     "I love you," I whisper.

     ~ROB'S POV~

I can't believe my eyes as I watch Chris Benoit walk into their camp carrying another Alliance
     member, whom I don't recognize.

Benoit grins at me and I lower my eyes in respect.

Benoit, aka the Wolverine, is a legend in the Alliance. A man who had earned respect by the
     spilling of his own blood.

"Put him over there," Matt growls, shoving Benoit. Benoit turns and growls at him, but does as
     he's told.

I watch as Benoit carries the unconscious man to the spot specified by Matt and gently lays him
down. He's so careful with him, that I know instantly that it's got to be his lover that he's carrying.

Jeff pulls away from me and goes to stand beside of his brother. I glance over and see his phaser
laying beside of me. Matt was right when he said Jeff was always losing things. Carefully, I scoot
up and put it behind me, setting it on stun.

Benoit is watching my every move. He even nods in approval.

Matt notices him watching me. He turns and looks at me. "Don't even think about it Rob."

"Leave him alone," Jeff says, immediately coming to my defense.

I must admit Jeff is quite attractive. Maybe I can convince Benoit to let me keep him as a lover.

I watch as the blonde stirs and slowly regains consciousness. I smile as I look at him. He is
beautiful. No wonder Benoit fell in love with him.

"You idiot," he growls to Matt as he attempts to stand. "I'm a Federation pilot."

"Sure," Matt says sarcastically, rolling his eyes, pushing him back down.

Benoit catches him in his arms. The glare he gives Matt sends shivers down my spine. I so would
not want to be Matt when Benoit gets free. I watch as the blonde moans and slips into
unconsciousness again. Matt must have set the phaser on high stun.

"Keep your bitch quiet," Matt growls to Benoit, who watches him with a cold, calculated stare.

Jeff frowns at his brother. "Is he alright?" He asks Benoit as he kneels and tries to check the
     unconscious man's pulse.

Benoit slaps his hand away. "Don't touch him," he growls possessively.

"Jeff," I whisper, drawing his attention away from the pair.

Jeff frowns, but comes and sits back down beside of me. "What's his problem?" He asks confused.

I smile. "He's Chris Benoit. No one touches anything that belongs to him, and the man you were
touching is his lover. You might say that he's a legend among the Alliance members."

Jeff rolls his eyes. "So he's a legend in his own mind, too." I could tell that Jeff hated it when
lovers got too possessive. Made me wonder about Matt.

I'm relieved that Jeff hasn't noticed that his phaser is missing, and for that I'm grateful. I don't
want to hurt him, just subdue him. I've set it on low stun, just enough to render him unconscious.
Jeff gasps as I fire, turning to look at me. I hate the shocked, betrayed look that he is giving me.
"Rob?" he whispers before he passes completely out. I kiss his forehead. "It'll be alright, I
     promise."

I adjust the gun to high stun and aim it at Matt's back as he is desperately trying to regain radio
contact with Earth. He falls to ground, not knowing what hit him.

I reach over and quickly tie Jeff up. I go to Matt and rid him of all his weapons, and place a control
     cuff on him.

Benoit is watching me with amusement.

"What?" I ask as I remove his cuffs. "How come you didn't take them out?"

"I wanted to see what you could do," he said grinning.

"Who's this?" I ask pointing to the unconscious man.

"Chris, he's my lover. He's also a Federation pilot."

"He was telling the truth?" I ask, smiling in disbelief.

Benoit smiles his famous smile as he helps me drag the unconscious Matt over to Jeff.
