Kay - Young Shooters part 10
~KURT'S POV~

We stand our ground as the Alliance approaches. Every man and woman here are ready to fight to the death
to protect their homes and loved ones if need be. I swore to protect them and I shall.

I see the crazed look in Austin's eyes as he approaches. He's like a wild caged animal, foaming at the mouth.
He lives for this. The terror. The destruction. The killing.

His kind makes me sick. I won't let him destroy this town. My town.

He's almost upon us now and I can see them drawing their guns, but so are we.

It all happens so fast that I'm shooting without really having a target, hoping that my aim is true.

I hear Mark roar as he pulls Adam behind him, aiming his gun at one of the young riders. I watch the young
man tumble off his horse and hit the ground with a sickening thud. "Steve," the young man gasps as he holds
his bleeding arm.

I look around for Austin, too. Damn, he's disappeared. Where the hell is he?

My eye catches movement behind us.

"Mark!" I yell as I see Austin aiming for his back.

Mark is quick and agile as he whirls around and fires his gun. Austin looks at him with a surprised look as he
holds his chest and stumbles backwards into the saloon, falling to the floor.

After watching Austin disappear into the saloon, his gang panicked and started to disband. They quickly
rounded up their horses and scattered in all different directions. Without their rattlesnake leader, the
Alliance was no more.

"And don't come back!" I yell after them.

The townsfolk join in and jeer them.

I look around at several bodies littering the streets. It could've been worse. A whole lot worse, if it wasn't for
Hunter and his warning.

I make my way towards the jail. I have to talk to Hunter and thank him.

As I swing the doors open, I gasp. He's gone. He ran again. Damn it, Hunter! Why?

Love? Who needs it?

"Kurt!" Adam says breathlessly as he runs into my office.

"What's wrong Adam?"

"He's gone!"

"Who's gone?" I ask confused.

"Austin. There's a trail of blood leading to the back of the saloon," Adam explains.

"Which way was he headed?"

"East."

I smile. If the desert doesn't get him, then the Indians would. "Let him go."

"But....?" Adam starts to protest, but quickly stops as Mark wraps his arms around him.

"Kurt's right. The bastard don't stand a chance out there," Mark growls.

I watch as Mark leads Adam away. I look at the proud faces of the people of Prosperity. They had stood
against the worst evil that the West had ever known and defeated it.

I smiled as I headed toward Lita's place. A mug of milk sure sounded good right now.

I stopped as I heard a whimper from underneath some crates. I pushed them away and found the young
man that had tried to kill Adam.

"What'd you find Kurt?" Mark asks amused as he approached, frowning as he sees that it's the same man
that had aimed for his precious Adam.

"Hello there," Kurt says grinning, motioning for the man to stand.

He whimpers in pain, but manages to stand.

"What are you gonna do with him?" Mark growls. "I could finish him off."

The young man whimpers as he looks at Mark.

"No," I say as I tilt his chin up, carefully checking out the mans beautiful face. "I have a better idea."

Mark grins at me as he looks down at the crotch of my pants. "I bet you do," he laughs, punching my arm.

Adam looks confused, but Mark wraps one of his log-sized arms around him and pulls him along.

"What's your name?" I ask.

"Rob," the young man whimpers. "Please let me go. I'll do anything you want."

"Anything?" I ask smiling, loving the look of fear on his beautiful face.

~RHYNO'S POV~

Damn! I can't believe that the red-haired bitch shot me.

I look at my surroundings and realize that I'm not going in the right direction. Damn! I'm deep in Indian
territory.

I reach for my gun, but it's gone. I must have dropped it back in town. Is there anything else that can go
wrong?

My leg is hurting so bad. She got me right in the front thigh. Lucky for me, I think the bullet missed the bone
and went clear through.

I slide off my horse to inspect the wound further.

I startle as I hear someone behind me. I gasp as I see a Indian brave smiling down at me. He's about the
most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I can't help but notice that his loin cloth barely covers his crotch. I smile
at this long auburn hair that is carefully braided.

His eyes seem to look right through me into my very soul.

"Me, Raven," he says barely smiling.

"Me, Rhyno," I whisper in shock, but licking my lips as I looked at him more closely.

"Me scalp you," Raven said smiling.

"Me gore you," Rhyno said as he arose quickly and gored him to the ground with his massive body, loving the
feel of the man as he struggled underneath him.
