Summary: Jeff Hardy�s heart is broken and somebody has a crush on our favorite high flyer.
Jeff Hardy is standing on a balcony, looking out over the city. Contemplating his life, he wonders how many of the people he is watching are lovers, or are going to meet their lovers. �How lucky they all are. To have found somebody and be able to keep them in their lives.�

Jeff is being watched from two balconies over. The tall man stares with complete longing. He stares at the youth who is now leaning over the railing. �What was it that Chris did that hurts him so much? How could Chris hurt such a beautiful creature?�

Jeff sighs as he looks straight down. �It would be so easy to jump. But I can�t do that to Matt. Although he has Edge and Chris now has Christian. As usual I am left alone. How could Chris do that to me? Why did he cheat on me with Christian of all people? I mean I love Christian but how could he do this to me? I just feel so lonely and all alone. It�s like I don�t exist if I�m not with Chris.� Jeff sniffles as he feels a tear run down his cheek.

The stranger looks at his watch gauging how much time has passed since he felt compelled to step out on his balcony. He looks up and even in the dark can see the single tear trickle down his desire�s cheek. �I wish I could tell him how I feel. I have been waiting for Chris to screw up and lose him and what can I do about it? I want to hold him so bad but I couldn�t handle it if he rejected me.�

Several days later
Jeff walks into the locker room, feeling rejected. Tears slipping down his face he doesn�t notice the tall man watching him. �Jeff are you all right?�
�Yeah, I�m fine Taker. Thanks.� He says not even looking up.
�If you�re fine than why are you crying?�
�I got into a fight with Matt. It�s stupid and it doesn�t mean anything. We�ll make up. We always do.�
�Oh. If you need anyone to talk to, I�m here for you.�
Jeff smiles for the first time in days. �Thanks Taker. I appreciates it but there�s nothing you can do.� Jeff strips and heads for the showers.

Taker looks around and sighs. Hanging his head he gives a short bark of laughter as he feels a single tear slip down his cheek. �I am such a moron. Why would I ever think that such a gorgeous man could ever care for me?�

Jeff stands in the shower sobbing, not really caring who hears him.

Taker jumps when he feels a hand on his shoulder. �Taker man why don�t you just tell him how you feel?�
�I can�t Kane. He�ll reject me and I don�t think I could take that.�
�So what? It�s better that you sit here feeling sorry for yourself while he sobs in the showers?�
�I offered to listen to him. I offered to hear him out and he rejected me. Do you really think that Jeff Hardy is gonna want some broken down old man who is in pain every night? I can answer that. No. He�ll never want someone like me. And you know what. I don�t blame him.� Taker stands up and grabbing his stuff heads to the hotel.

Jeff is getting dressed when he hears Chris and Christian come banging into the locker room. �Oh god Chris you feel so good inside of me.�
�That�s it Christian. Ride me. Yeah baby.� They both let out primal screams as they come in unison. �Have I ever told you how much I love you?� Jeff bites back a sob when he hears Chris tell Christian this. The tears stream down his face as Chris continues. �And not to bring the mood down but damn baby you are so much better than Jeff was.�
Christian giggles and says �Yeah well if you had been used as much as Jeff you probably wouldn�t be very good in bed either.� Jeff closes his eyes and tries to shut the voices out. �Come on Chris. Take me in the shower. I love to watch you when you are all wet.�
Jeff waits until they are in the shower and having sex before he runs blindly from the locker room.

Taker is sitting on his bike outside the arena. He sees Jeff tear blindly out the back door and sees the tears. He watches in silence as Jeff climbs onto his own bike and takes off before following him. �Why am I doing this? He obviously doesn�t want me around.� Still, he follows Jeff. He hears screaming as he watches Jeff loose control and veer off the road, not realizing the screams are coming from his own mouth.

Taker pulls his bike up next to where Jeff crashed. Grabbing his cell phone he calls for help. Kneeling beside Jeff, he nearly sobs with relief that Jeff is conscious. Jeff looks up at him and asks �What happened?�
�I don�t know baby. I saw you lose control and you ran off the road. It�s gonna be okay. I�m here and I�ve called for help. Can you move anything Jeff?�
Jeff tries to move but can�t because it hurts so much. Sobbing he relays this to Taker.
�I guess it�s better that you hurt than you not feeling anything.� Taker starts to panic as he realizes Jeff is no longer conscious.
Minutes later, the ambulance arrives. They quickly assess Jeff�s injuries and load him onto the ambulance. They don�t allow Taker into the back with Jeff so he follows on his bike. Calling Matt once they arrive Taker is forced to wait in the waiting room. Matt and Adam arrive quickly flanked by Chris and Christian. �What happened Taker?�
�Jeff lost control of his bike. He went off the road. They won�t give me an update on his condition. What the fuck are those two doing here?�
�Christian and Chris are two of Jeff�s best friends.� Matt says defending his lovers brother and his best friend.
�If they care about Jeff so much than why did Chris cheat on him with Christian huh? And why did Christian go along with it? He knew how much Jericho meant to Jeff and yet he still had sex with Jeff�s lover.� Taker says taking a menacing step towards Chris who backs up.
They all look up when the doctor comes into the room. �Are any of you related to Mr. Hardy?�
Matt steps forward. �I am his brother. Doctor, how is he?�
�Jeff has suffered severe injuries. He is in a coma and as much as I hate to say it, I don�t think he�ll ever wake up. There were too many injuries. I am sorry, Mr. Hardy. You can go see him if you want.� Matt nods as Taker turns and walks blindly out of the hospital. Chris starts to sob and Christian pulls away from him. Adam just holds on to Matt�s hand until they can�t hold on to each other any longer.
