Chuck Palumbo looks at his best friend and sighs softly to himself. `If only Sean knew how much I truly do love him.' He watches in despair as the other man wraps his arms around Shane Helms. `I can't believe he isn't aware that Shane is just using him to make Shannon jealous. Sean is going to be so hurt when he finds out.'

Nora Greenwald talks into the phone as Trish listens in. "I know Tylene. I miss you too. But I have to go. I have to set up a match with Trish�.Yeah Trish Stratus�.No she's actually becoming a very good wrestler�. I love you too�. Talk to you in a couple of days� Bye sweetie." Nora hangs up the phone and turns to her best friends with a huge smile. "Are you ready Trish?" Trish smiles sadly at her friend and thinks to herself `When is she going to see that Ty is controlling her. I just hope that when she does realize it , she knows she can come to me.'

Chuck watches sadly as Shane turns and kisses Sean passionately. "I gotta go babe. I gotta work out my next spot with Shanny. I'll see you back at the hotel okay?" Shane says coyly.
Sean grins. "I can't wait." He watches his lover leave the room. Turning to his tag team partner and best friend, he says "Hey Chuckie. So on the run in, how should we do this?"
As the two get down to business, Sean doesn't notice as his best friend gazes at him longingly.

Trish watches the TV monitor with a smile as Nora takes on Ivory for the women's championship. She gives a shout that has everyone around her laughing when Nora pins her opponent. She rushes to the exit and waits impatiently for Nora to come through the curtains. The minute she does the two women are hugging and laughing like there is no tomorrow. "I am so proud of you. You looked terrific out there." Trish immediately invites the new women's champ out for a celebration dinner. "Let's go to dinner to celebrate your fabulous victory." Nora agrees and goes to shower. Trish does her promos for the night and meets up with Nora in the women's locker room. They throw their arms around one another and head out to their car. At the restaurant, the two friends are giggling and having a great time when Nora's phone rings. She answers and looks at Trish apologetically. Trish immediately knows who it is. She signals for the check and as Nora turns away to talk privately with Tylene, she pays the check and leaves a note on a napkin. She looks back at her dear friend and sighs as the tears start to fall. She signals for a cab and heads back to the hotel.
Trish opens the door to her hotel room groggily. Nora collapses into her arms in tears. "Ty.. She's been cheating on me. We just broke up. Trish why would she do this to me? I love her."
Trish bites her tongue and just holds her friend. They fall asleep, crying, Nora for the loss of her lover and Trish because she can't tell Nora how she feels.

Sean and Chuck make their way onto the elevator laughing about the look on Mark Jindrak's face when they pantsed him in front of a bunch of female fans he had been trying to impress. Chuck laughs as Sean mimics Mark's anger at their act. Sean convinces Chuck to go with him to his hotel room for a drink. Chuck agreed but only because he knew Shane wasn't supposed to be there. The two have finally quit laughing and make their way into Sean and Shane's room. Sean stops dead in his tracks. Chuck walks into him. Looking around his friend he gasps when he sees Shane and Shannon fucking in Shane and Sean's bed. Shane looks up at the sound of the gasp and immediately tries to explain away what is happening. "Sean baby what are you doing back so soon? Shanny and I were just� we were just hanging out and one thing led to another. Sean baby he means nothing to me I swear." Shannon doesn't look at all happy about the interruption.
Sean just gets angrier and angrier the more Shane talks. He's finally heard enough and punches the younger man, knocking him onto his ass. Sean grabs his stuff and says "Fuck you and your little whore Shane. I've had enough. It's over." Shane pleads with him but Sean ignores him as he shoves Chuck out of the room, following right behind. Chuck leads his friend to his room. Once there, Sean breaks down and starts sobbing. Chuck wraps his arms around him and rocks him back and forth. Sean finally calms down enough to speak. "Oh god how could I be so stupid? Why didn't I see that Shane was just using me? Chuck why didn't you warn me?"
"Sean baby you wouldn't have believed me. But if it makes you feel better I don't think he's cheated on you before now." Chuck says looking into his friends red rimmed but beautiful blue eyes. He bites his cheek from the inside and pulls Sean back into a hug, not wanting to test the friendship.
Sean pulls away and looks into the other man's eyes. "How could I not see it?"
"You were in love with him?" Chuck answers.
"Fuck Shane. He never meant that much to me. No what I meant was why have I never notices how beautiful you are Chuck?"
Chuck blushes and looks away. "I'm not beautiful Sean. I'm just plain old Chuck."
"There's nothing plain about you." Sean says his voice going deep with want. He leans in and kisses his best friend softly. They pull away after several minutes. Sean gasps for air. "Damn I shoulda done that a long time ago. Chuck� I�."
"Shhhh. No words Sean. Don't you dare apologize. Take the time you need to get over Shane and I'll be here for you. I've always been here for you." Chuck say kissing his friend softly before getting ready for bed. He climbs in to bed and falls asleep, dreaming about Sean.

Trish wakes up and smiles at the young woman in her arms. Nora wakes up soon afterwards. She looks up at Trish. "Hi." She says shyly.
"Are you feeling better, Nor?" Trish asks concerned for her friend.
"Yeah. Sorry I freaked out on you. I should have known this was coming. Ty and I having been getting along as well as we used to. I knew that being apart would kill our relationship sooner or later. Thanks for letting me bawl all over you."
"It's no problem Nora. You know I adore you." Trish climbs out of bed and Nora watches her thoughtfully. Trish comes back out of the bathroom dressed and ready to go. "Come on. I'll walk you back to your room so you can shower and change." Trish is stunned when Nora kisses her.
"I must have been nuts."
"What do you mean? And why did you do that?"
"Because all this time I have been chasing the dream with Ty when I could have had the real thing right here with you. I settled for second best. Not any more. You the one I love. I've always loved you I just didn't realize it until now."
Trish looks at Nora dumfounded. Nora kisses Trish again taking their breath away.

Chuck wakes up to find Sean spooned against his back. He rolls over and looks into the deep blue eyes that are staring at him. "I made my decision Chuck. I want you. No I love you and want to be with you. I always have. I just didn't realize it until last night. I thought Shane was the man of my dreams but I was fooling myself. I am so sorry for not realizing this sooner. Please say we can be together."
Chuck smiles at the other man and nods his head as he pulls Sean in for a passionate kiss. Breaking the kiss he rolls Sean onto his back and straddles his hips. "I thought we had lost our chance together. I'm glad we didn't."
Sean answers him with a smile. "No I just saved the best for last."
