Friends, or Not?

For me! For Drakflame, who archives all these, for shana who offers unending support, for Kay, who actually likes reading them, I think. And for Christina, who suggested Rocky might not actually like Hogan, which played perfectly into my Hogan hating hands.

Friends, or Not?(1/1)

Truthfully, I'm not sure how I feel being on the same page as Hogan. I know that he's going to be fairly easy to manipulate, after all he wants to be friends with all the faces; he says to show the heels that we mean business, but most of us in the back agree that he thinks he needs allies to save his ass when he faces the Undertaker at Judgment Day. Everyone, and I mean everyone, in the back knows that 'Taker beat Hogan eleven years ago, and we know that he can do it again. No matter what Hogan says, we know that 'Taker's strong, and vicious, and he hasn't changed in the years I've been wrestling him. He still dominates in the ring, we've all seen it. When Hogan and I met at Wrestlemania  they said the match was the past versus the future. I wonder what they're calling the Hogan/'Taker match? The past versus the present? It would make sense, in a way. I know that the fans probably don't agree with me, and I respect that, but there's something deceptive about Hogan, a feeling that, perhaps, he's not as good as he pretends to be. That he's screwing us all over with this good, absolutley flat character from the '80s. It's like wayching a really old wrestling tape; it's actually kind of scary, because the business isn't as nice as Hogan seems to believe, or how he acts, probably to make us think he believes it. Deep down there's something cunning about Hogan , and often times I feel I'd rather be his enemy than his friend, because being the former is less dangerous than being the latter. What I wouldn't give to see Hogan loose that title at Judgment Day because one of his own allies stabbed him in the back. I truly don't think that Hogan has learned there are few truly loyal units in the WWF. If anyone else tells you differently they're playing you. Sure, we have alliances, and allies, but we use them as stepping stones, because in this business it all comes down to what can they do for me, and if I ally myslef with them  will it help my career? This is a business of egos and alliances, and back-stabbing , although we rarely carry them beyond the curtian.

The fact of the matter remains that I don't even like Hogan, he's trying to take wrestling back to the '80s, while I've worked so hard to bring wrestling forward, to make it not just a good guy bad guy sport. The fans get tired of that. Let's hope they soon get tired of Hogan, so things can go back to the way they were before he came back to the WWF, and messed up everyone in the back;s months of careful planning. The thing kabout planning though, is you need to plan around the Undertaker, because 'Taker doesn't need plans or allies, he just needs to go out there and kick some ass. so now the back plans around  Hogan, because he'd ruin our carefully laid plans, and around 'Taker, because he just turns a blind eye. It should be interesting come Judgment Day, who's plans involve Hogan, and who's plans don't. Yes, the faces plan just as euthlessly as the heels, sometimes I think more so. My current alliance, with my lover, calls for Hogan's fownfall.  Just vicious little internet rumours to undermine Hogan's confidence. i guess the don't call him the cerebral assassin for  nothing, huh?

Everything depends on Vince though. ultimately the man he's backing will win the title, or retain, as the case may be. The rumours are flying that 'Taker's leaving soon, says he's getting too old  for this, and if he beats Hogan it is , not only a great victory  for heels everywhere, buit his last hrrah in the WWF, so to speak. He also leaves on a high note, after holding a title he's made no secret of wanting since he returned to the ring.

It all hangs on Hogan, really. If he sees the manoevering in the back and decides to screw us all over he can. And he might because he's a crafty old asshole. He hasn't yet realized that the world doesn't revolve around him though. He stills believes that good will triumph over evil, the white knight gets the girl, and on a pure white steed rides off into the sunset. Well the WWFhas no horses, and the girls in the back won't work with him because a) he's old,and b) he likes to brag about his past conquests, and the girls don't like to be compared to ringrats, it makes them irritable and snappy, at everyone, not just Hogan.

Still the Divas don't concern me, I never work with them, besides that stint I did with Trish. Hunter had to work with Stephanie for the longest time, and it drove him absolutely crazy. Which drove me absolutely crazy.  We're on the same brand now though, which means that we can travel together, and room together. The day always seems better when I wake up next to Hunter, or if I'm up to greet it, which truth be told, happens quite often..  And it seems to be happening more and more often, or perhaps I just think it's happening more and more often. That means I usually have to catch a few minutes of sleep in my dressing room, but hey there are worse places to sleep, like on a plane, in a a car, on a table, you get the idea. And the best part is Hogan never looks for me there when he's trying to be buddy-buddy, and he's always trying.

He hasn't been on Smackdown so much in a while, the Undertaker's brand is Raw, and I think Hogan's tryiny to intimidate the Dead Man, only ead men don't feel, and 'Taker is no exception. Come Judgment Day, when 'Taker acts as judge, jury, and executioner, our revenge will be complete. Hunter could challenge 'Taker as a face, and win back his title, because it was stupid he lost it anyway. I'd never have to put up with another one of Hogan's speeches about the importance of sticking together, and 'Taker would finally receive his proper due. If Judgment Day goes as the Game has planned Hulkamania won't be running, it won't even be limping. When Hunter and I and 'Taker are through with Hulkamania he'll have to be wheeled out on a stretcher. And Hulkamaniacs far and wide will finally see the truth, Hogan's nothing but a fraud.
