Summary: Molly Holly has a crush on Shannon Moore
Molly Holly looks across the meeting at the younger man and blushes when he catches her staring. She looks away and shakes her head when Spike says something. "Molly are you okay?"
She smiles and nods her head. "I'm fine Spike. Just spacing out a little."
The meeting comes to an end and Molly gets to her feet and heads to the refreshment table. After grabbing a soda and some chips she moves away bumping into someone. She looks up into brilliant green eyes. "I� I� I'm sorry. I didn't see you."
Shannon Moore smiles down at the pretty blonde. "It's okay Molly. No harm done. It's not like you could hurt me by just running me over." Shannon smiles in an effort to make the young woman smile.
Molly blushes and looks down at the ground. "That's true." She bites her lip trying to think of something witty to say or do to keep Shannon talking to her when she hears a voice call out to Shannon.
She looks up and notices Jeff Hardy smiling at her and Shannon. She smiles at him and then up at Shannon. "Looks like Jeff needs to talk to you."
"Jeff's always got something to say. In fact he never shuts up. But I guess I had better go see what the rainbow wants before he gets the idea to come over here and kick my butt." Shannon smiles and winks and walks away.
Molly watches him go and sighs dreamily. She jumps when she feels a hand on her shoulder. She turns around and finds herself looking into Spike's blue eyes. "Hi." She manages to squeak out.
He smiles at her. "Ya know Moll, you should ask him out. I'm sure Shannon likes you. He's always watching you so why don't you go for it?"
"I'm scared he'll laugh at me."
"He won't. And if he does, I'll kick his butt for you."
Molly laughs and hugs her friend. "Thanks Spike. Maybe I will ask him out. But not right now." Molly says as she runs out of the room to avoid talking about Shannon anymore.
She runs headlong into Trish Stratus. "Whoa slow down Molly. What's chasing you?"
Molly gives a little laugh. "Nothing. I just didn't want to talk to Spike about�" Molly trails off before she reveals too much.
Trish smiles. "Who do you have a crush on?"
"No one." Molly says far too quickly. Trish just looks at Molly not believing her. "Shannon Moore."
Trish grins. "Shanny's is a cutie. Do you want to ask him out or do you want him to ask you out?"
Molly shrugs. "I don't know. I just know that I like him a lot."
Trish smiles and nods her head. "Well, would you mind if I set you two up? You can go on a double date with me and Jeff."
"I didn�t know you and Jeff were dating."
"We're not but I want him and I'm pretty sure he wants me so why not?"
Molly laughs. "Okay then. Thank you so much Trish."
"No problem. We might have to suffer through Matt and Lita being there. You know those two are stuck at the lips. And if Matt comes along so will Shane, I mean Gregory and Stephanie."
"I can deal with Steph and Gregory but do Matt and Lita have to come along?"
Trish laughs. "Yeah, probably. Unless I can sweet talk Jeff into it just being the four of us."
"Try for that."
"I will. See ya in a bit." Trish walks off to go and talk to the young men about going on a date with them.
A few minutes later, Trish comes back out and smiles at the younger woman. "It's all set. Tomorrow night, you, Shanny, me and Jeff are going out to dinner."
Molly pales slightly. "Really? Oh wow. But what am I going to wear? All I have is jeans and stuff."
Trish grins. "Oh we can fix that. Shopping. We'll have to go shopping. Besides I want to find something really sexy to wear for Jeff."
Molly blushes making Trish grin even wider. "Come on. I'm not on tonight and neither are you right?" Molly nods her head slowly. "Well, then lets go ask Vince if we can leave. There's no sense in us staying here when we aren't going to be on."
Molly nods and follows the older woman down to Vince McMahon's office. They easily get permission to leave and head back to their locker room quickly to grab their stuff. "Do you have a rental or are you sharing?"
Molly smiles. "Spike drove me in. I didn't want to bother with getting a rental just for me."
"Good idea. And perfect for us tonight. Now we don't have to worry about two cars. Let's go to the mall."
Molly smiles again and follows the blonde out the door. They hit store after store once they get to the mall. Trish insists on making Molly try on extremely sexy outfits but the younger woman refuses to get anything too revealing. Trish nods her head and finally picks out the sexiest outfit she can find for herself. After paying for her purchase the two women go back to a store where Molly had seen some outfits that looked perfect for her.
She finally finds a black leather skirt that's not too short and looks fabulous on her. Trish nods her approval. "Very sexy but understated. I like it. Now let's find you a shirt."
Molly nods her head and the two women look around the store their eyes finally falling on satin blouses. Trish grabs one of every colour in Molly's size and shoves the younger woman into the dressing room. Molly tries them all on with the skirt and they finally decide on the baby blue shirt. Trish grins at her friend. "Now we go get shoes." Molly laughs and heads to the cashier to pay for her clothes.
Meanwhile across the Mall
"I don't know Jeff. It's just not me. I mean you look good in vinyl but it's really not my style."
Jeff smiles at his younger friend. "Shan, trust me. You want Molly right? Then just let me pick out you outfit."
"I like Molly and I want to date her but Jeff I'm not ready for anything more than that."
Jeff shrugs. "Fine. Let me go pay for my stuff and we'll go get you a boring outfit."
Shannon rolls his eyes at his friend and the two men head for the cashiers.
They head for a slightly less exotic store searching until Shannon finds the perfect outfit. Jeff speaks up. "I have to admit Shanny, that look suits you."
Shannon nods his head and looks at himself in the mirror. "Do you think Molly will like it?"
"If she doesn't than I know of at least one other woman who will flip for you."
Shannon rolls his eyes. "I don't want anyone but Molly."
Jeff nods his head and they head up to the cashier's to pay for Shannon's outfit. "Should we get new shoes?"
Shannon shakes his head. "Why do we need new shoes?"
"Do you have any dress shoes with you? Because I sure don't."
Shannon shakes his head and unwillingly allows himself to be dragged to the nearest shoe store. He freezes when he sees Molly and Trish in there trying on shoes. "Let's find someplace else Jeff."
"Why?"
Shannon points to the two women and Jeff nods his head. "Okay Shan. We'll find some other store to shop for shoes." Jeff drags his young friend down the mall into another store.
The Next Night
"I don't know about this Trish. I mean what if Shannon doesn't think this is a date?"
"He does Moll. I made sure he knew that this is a double date. He was happy about it I swear."
Molly frowns as she looks at herself in the mirror. "I don't like this look. I look like a little girl playing dress up."
Trish laughs. "Honey you look sexy as hell and twice as hot. Shannon is gonna flip his lid when he catches sight of you."
Molly laughs. "You are so insane." Molly finally gets a good look at her friend and gasps. "Dang, Trish, could you show off more skin?"
Trish smiles. "Do you think I should?"
Molly giggles. "Uh no. Although I'm sure Jeff wouldn't mind I don't want Shannon drooling all over you instead of me."
Trish smiles again. "It would never happen. Not in a million years would Shanny prefer me to you."
Molly laughs. "Get real. There isn�t a guy alive who wouldn't want you."
Trish rolls her eyes. "Yeah because they all think I'm an easy lay. Honey you attract the guys I'd love to have falling all over me. I want the nice guys who don't try to take things to far on the first date."
Trish and Molly finally leave the hotel room and head for the restaurant arriving minutes before the guys. The maitre d seats them and the women stare at the other patrons. Shannon and Jeff show up quickly and Jeff points out the women to his best friend. Shannon stares at Molly in shock. "Oh my god. She looks so beautiful. Jeff I can't do this."
"Yes you can Shanny. We're going to go over and tell those two gorgeous women how beautiful they look and then we're going to sit down and have a nice dinner with them. Afterwards you can take Molly for a walk or something while I get to know Trish better." Jeff grins at his life long buddy who rolls his eyes.
They arrive at the table and both women get to their feet. Shannon leans over kissing Molly's cheek softly while Jeff pulls Trish into a passionate kiss. Trish giggles while Molly blushes. "Molly you look stunning."
Molly turns an even deeper shade of red and smiles shyly at the object of her affections. "Thanks Shannon. So do you."
He smiles at her. "Thanks." Pulling out her chair he waits until she sits down and then looks over at Trish and Jeff who are still kissing. He rolls his eyes and sits down next to Molly. "Could we have two more completely different friends? I mean you and Trish are complete opposites while Jeff and I are nothing alike."
Molly laughs. "Well I suppose we could find people who are completely different from us but I doubt it."
Shannon smiles and the two younger people talk as Trish and Jeff sit down and they all look over their menus. Trish smiles at Molly who is as happy as can be. Shannon and Jeff share a smile as the waiter approaches the table. They all place their orders and the rest of the night goes smoothly.
After dinner, Jeff asks Trish to go for a drive with him and she grins in response. Jeff throws Shannon the keys to their rental and follows Trish out to her car. Molly smiles softly at the blonde across from her. "What should we do now?"
Shannon smiles back and shrugs. "I dunno. Do you wanna go see a movie or something?"
Molly nods her head not wanting the evening to end. The two blondes head out.
After the movie the two head back to the hotel. Shannon walks Molly to her room. "So I guess this is good night?"
Molly nods her head slowly. "I had fun Shannon. I liked spending time with you."
Shannon blushes. "I liked spending time with you too. In fact I liked it so much I'm gonna ask you something I probably shouldn't ask on the first date. Will you� I mean would you consider being my girlfriend?"
Molly nods her head excitedly. "I'd love to Shan."
They smile at one another for a few minutes before Shannon leans in and kisses Molly softly. "Goodnight Molly. Sweet dreams." Shannon walks down the hall leaving Molly staring after him.
Molly smiles after he disappears and unlocks the door to her room. Out loud she speaks. "I'll be dreaming of you Shannon so my dreams will have to be sweet."
