Mark sighed in relief as Adam slowly lowered them to the ground. He wiped the snow from his
face, but surprisingly he wasn't freezing to death.

"Did I scare you?" Adam asked grinning innocently, fluttering his wings ridding them of the
     unwanted snow.

"No," Mark whispered frowning, refusing to admit just how scared he really had been.

Adam stifled his giggle as Mark walked away, wobbling slightly as he slowly regained the control
     of his legs.

"ADAM!" Jason screamed as he ran from the cabin.

"JASON!" Adam screamed as he ran to him.

Mark and Jeff watched as a glowing bright light surrounded the angels as they hugged.

"Jeff, tell me that I'm dreaming," Chris said as he grabbed ahold of Jeff's shoulder, squinting to
get a better view through the light that the angels were emitting.

Jeff smiled as he wrapped his arm around his beautiful lover's waist. "Don't you believe in
     angels?" Jeff asked smirking.

"I guess I do now," Chris admitted in amazement. Chris lowered his head. "About earlier......"

"It's forgotten," Jeff whispered as he pressed a finger to Chris' soft lips, silencing him.

"How fucking touching," Vince growls as he emerges from his hiding place holding a gun, stopping
     to glare at Mark.

Mark rolled his eyes. He was tired of being Vince's errand boy.

Adam and Jason continued to cling together as they looked at the mean man, who was looking at
them like he could devour them.

"Leave them alone," Mark growled as he stood between the angels and Vince. "I can't let you hurt
     them."

"Really?" Vince said grinning. "That's too bad."

Everyone jumped as a shot rang out. Mark gasped and dropped to one knee, clutching his
     abdomen.

"Since when did you have a heart?" Vince growls at Mark. "You looked into their eyes didn't
     you?"

Mark nodded as he fell backwards onto the snow white blanket of snow.

     "Idiot!" Vince snarled.

"NO!" Adam screamed as he ran to Mark, cradling his head in his lap.

Jason frantic to protect Adam, stood between the man and his friend.

Vince smiled at him, before turning his attention to the other pair.

Chris watched as Vince aimed the gun in their direction. "No!" Chris cried out as he pushed Jeff
out of the line of fire.

Another shot rang out and Chris fell backwards clutching his shoulder.

"Chris!" Jeff screams as he crawls to his fallen lover, cradling him in his arms.

"Stop it!" Jason screams in frustration.

Vince merely laughs at him as he aims the gun at Jeff.

Bradshaw's eyes widened as he watched the scene before him. He gripped his rifle and aimed at
Vince. "Lord, let my aim be true." Before Vince could fire, he fired.

Vince fell to the ground with a gaping wound in his back and chest.

The group shivered as they heard a loud wail from beneath them as Vince drew his last breath.
The ground rumbled and then fell silent.

Matt ran to Jeff. "I'm so sorry," he whispered, hugging his younger brother before checking on
Chris, who looked at him in shock.

Everyone gasped as another angel landed near Adam and Jason.

"Hunter!" Adam and Jason sighed in relief.

"Hello little ones," Hunter said hugging both of them tightly before gently slapping both of them
on the back of the head.

"Ouch!" They said, pouting in unison.

Adam looked down at Mark. His blood had now spread onto the snow blanketed ground, turning it
a crimson red. "Help him," Adam pleaded to the archangel.

"It's not up to me," Hunter said sadly.

Adam cradled Mark once again. "I'm sorry," Adam whispered.

"For what? You did nothing," Mark whispered as he reached up and caressed Adam's face.

"Please," Adam asked as he looked up into the heavens. "Let him live."

Mark smiled faintly as his eyes fluttered. He was so sleepy and cold.

"No!" Adam sobbed, his wings slowly encircling them.

Jason knelt by Adam, resting a comforting hand on his shoulder.

A bright brilliant light suddenly appeared above Mark, focusing solely on his lifeless body.

Adam smiled as he watched Mark's eyes flutter open.

"What happened?" Mark asked confused. "I thought I was dead."

"God answered my prayer," Adam whispered as he placed a kiss on Mark's forehead as he stood
and joined Hunter and Jason. "Follow your heart and you will find happiness."

Mark smiled. It had been a long time since he felt this good about himself.

Hunter growled as he looked around. He had always felt uncomfortable around mankind. "It's
time to go home angels," he growled.

Jason walked over and hugged Jeff. "Thank you for helping us."

"Anytime," Jeff said blushing, casting a slight smile at Chris.

     "Jason!" Hunter growled.

Jeff looked at Hunter. "He seems so mean."

"He's not mean. He just likes to boss us around," Jason said rolling his eyes.

Jeff giggled. "I know the feeling," he said, casting a side-way glance at his brother.

Mark, Jeff, Chris, Matt, and Bradshaw watched as the angels slowly made their ascent into the
     night sky.

Bradshaw hugged Matt and kissed him tenderly.

Jeff's mouth dropped. Someone had some serious explaining to do.
