For nearly two years Amber time Lise spent a good part of her time divided between Amber and Ashwani, where she was King Niccolo's lady. Eric, however, put an end to this relationship, just after the 3rd Amber-Chaos war.

During the 3rd Amber-Chaos war Lise has spent some time with Niccolo at sea, and with Eric's army, but never actually saw combat. She has a little bit of experience, largely due to Niccolo, with knife and rapier.
