Last week was very busy for me between work and family.  My district manager was on vacation last week and I was in charge.  Everything went pretty well.  On Saturday, Lana and Greg came to visit and saw Roland play a soccer game.  They ended up losing 3-1, but the kids played well.  We went to Spring Creek for lunch and did some shopping.  They didn't stay as long and left around 5pm on Saturday.

Sunday, I worked on my front yard a little.  I have a flower bed that I want to get rid of and replace it with concrete.  In long run, I want to have a bench that Jeff and I can sit on out front or that Amy and I can sit on when the kids are playing.  It's coming along.  Next project is to haul the dirt to the backyard and use to fill the holes in the backyard.

Tito started a diet today.  I realized this past weekend that I have been overfeeding him and he is starting to gain weight.  I am switching out his food and really working on his exercise (and my own exercise) to ensure that he does not get fat.  He's a big dog (about 75 pounds at least).I took some pictures tonight of him, and figured I could update it on either a 2 week process or on a every month process.  It'll take time of course, but we'll make a page for him too, just like our Walking Texas page.

Today has been one year since Jeff and I were married!  Sure seems to been a fast year!

My mom came to visit me today and we went shopping and did some errands too.  We went to Walmart, Kohls, Target, and back to Walmart to pick up pictures.  We ate at our favorite restaurant, Olive Garden.  Jeff and I bought new furniture so my parents have adopted our previous coffee tables and end tables.  Before we went out for the day, we walked Tito and got a mile in for the day.  We might be able to say we did 1 1/2 because we did do lots of walking with shopping!!

Well, the first week of tracking our miles went well.  My mom walked 7, my aunt walked 2.5, and I walked/ran 5 miles.  The
graph looks neat with tracking our miles.  I haven't heard from my grandma for her miles yet.  We'll send her a reminder email and I'll post as soon as she sends it to me.

I received an email from my mom this evening, volunteering me to keep track of how many miles she walks a week!  She wanted me to put it on my webpage.  My other webpage is having problems, so I decided to start all over with a new webpage.  I'll have a link from the main page to our Walking Texas page tracking my mom's walking, my aunt Laurie, and myself.  She wants to walk 1000+ miles next year and from now through December is our warmup!  Let the walking begin!!
