Pictures of my Bathroom, July 2004 |
|

|
Maybe some of you remember the pictures of my apartment that I posted on the site last year. In any case, if you do you can see that I made quite a few improvements, most notably buying a washing machine (I heard I was the last person in Pehcevo to get one)! |

If you look closely you can see the water from the washing machine emptying out into the sink through the gray hose |

For the first year, nearly, that I lived in the apartment, the small mirror over the bathroom sink was the only mirror in my apartment - good thing I'm tall!! |

The high mineral content in the water turned my dyed-dark hair kind of reddish - but after I went home for Christmas 2003 I came back to Macedonia blond, and that was the end of the problem |

It did take a while to master non hands-free showering...but it can be done! Most PCVs in other PC countries often don't even have running water where they live! |
