A shining star shone in the blackness deep
Illuminating the darkness of night
A shining beacon through the clouds does creep
enchanting my heart with the light so bright
Deep in my heart this symbolizes you
You lift my spirit up into the skies
When you are there my love is bright and true
Just as the stars in time each day arise
and with each breath I take each day I dream
you are my shining star you give me hope
a part of every single wish and scheme
you are the one that always helps me cope
And with the fall of dusk I can not wait
to see the stars arise and shine and burn
for this I know and now anticipate
that with the stars I know you will return
You are a beacon brightening up my life
You are my hero throughout all of my strife
