You have just
moved to a new school. You do not really have very many friends. You are feeling
lonely and aren't sure what to do to get new friends
Your job is to design the perfect
friend. Now, this will be an imaginary friend, but this friend will help you to
be a better friend, too.
What you need to do is to look at some websites that
may give you some ideas about what friends are and how to make them.

Use the worksheet handed out by the teacher to take notes.
The Process
Once you
have done that, now you are ready to turn yourself into a true friend. Go to the document folder and open the file
called BODY then using KidPix color and draw on the body to make it look like
you. Then label your body with sayings about 
what each body
part will do...
My eyes will..
Inside my heart you will find...
My ears will...
Once
you have finished your picture and printed it click here to open your friendship chart.
Working
with a friend in your class fill in the chart using your computer.
Your project will
be evaluated based on your drawing and friendship chart answers.
Now you
know what it takes to be a true friend. Always remember that a friendship takes
work and it's important to always be the best friend that you can be.
