| I went whitewater rafting in June with a friend I work with, Cheryl, and her husband, Ty. The rafting trip traversed 16 miles of the Rio Grande near Taos, New Mexico. Most of the land on either side on the gorge we rafted through (called the Taos Box) is owned by the Bureau of Land Management and some was owned by Native American groups. It was beautiful! Most of the rapids were class 4 and class 5 and lots of fun once we got the hang of it. Check out the pictures from our trip! |
