You guessed it! I went to Mardi Gras this year! I stayed with a friend from the University of Delaware, Suku, met a bunch of his cool friends and enjoyed Mardi Gras!
In addition to lots of beer, we also had lots of good food. I fell in love with muffaleta! (We don't have those in Albuquerque!) I had pizza with crawfish on it and jambalaya (or maybe it was gumbo -- I always forget which is which. Or maybe I can't remember which I had because we unknowingly sat next to three women without shirts on (eek!)) We also ate at an African restaurant and a Spanish restaurant. Everything was so good! |
