There are so many great tips on the net....these are just a few basics.  Click on the sphere to the left for some more links to help with 'scrappin!
1.Don't buy too many products....you don't know what you like yet! Just get the following to start out: acid free glue, acid free paper & cardstock, archival plastic sleeves, an album, scissors-a couple basic ones, acid free pens-basic colors, stickers or die cuts.
2.Study your photographs.  Group them by year/time period, and then pick out themes. You really only need 3-4 pictures to complete a page.  Pick an easy subject...I did a nephews birthday.  You wouldn't want to do your wedding pages (overwhelming)...keep it simple until you learn what types of products you like.
3.Look through idea books and scrapbook magazines....they will help you get your creative juices flowing.
4. Pick out your color scheme and go to work! When finished place in archival sheet protectors and place in your album! (or whatever method you choose)
