Be honest with yourself no matter how good someone makes something sound you. You need to know that a tangible product exist? Does it have value on it�s own without the money making opportunity? If not, then all you have is a �Pyramid Scheme�.
The product is what validates an opportunity�..So Ask yourself if there is a market for this product? Is the product worth the asking price? And Remember, that any other benefits that are offered to you in addition to the product, such as training, mentoring, tools, etc., should not be considered part of the price of the product.
You want a product that is consistently in high demand. Don�t spend your time looking at an opportunity unless you have confidence in the product,�to enable you to feel great about representing it.
It's all about integrity. Products with integrity stand the test of time.
Feeling enthusiastic and passionate about your product, Passion is contagious,�If you are excited about the product, then you are already half way towards creating a successful Home Business.
4. Weigh out the investment cost to the value of the opportunity.
When considering a business opportunity many people make the cost to join the deciding factor. Many time, people are just afraid of risk,�.so they are attracted to opportunities where they can get started for free or at a minimal cost.
THIS IS A CRITICAL MISTAKE!
Value must be considered over cost to join, you have to ask yourself these important questions.
~How valuable is your time?
~How fast can you meet your financial goals with this opportunity?
Most people usually don�t start looking for a home based business until they NEED one. You have new parents that wants to stay at home with their baby, mothers and fathers that are tired of missing their kids childhoods, people tired of the rat race, the pressure, the JOB and the stress of working for someone else. You have grandparents that are raising their grandchildren an expense they never counted on having at this point in life.
So, if you are looking to change your life NOW, take that into consideration when scrutinizing the opportunities that you are looking at. For instance, what is the advantage of getting involved with an opportunity for free or at limited cost when it might take you 2 years before you can generate your desired income?
That is not to insinuate however,,..that the bigger the investment the more success you are guaranteed either.
So when you talk with someone about a Home Based Business, know the income that you desire to make and the time frame that you want to make it in. Ask for a realistic estimation of how long it will take you to accomplish that if you follow their system. One thing to keep in mind is the amount of money that you can make on each sell with the company, in order to know if what they are telling you sounds practical or not. For instance, If you are looking for a HBB to generate a significant income immediately. You would be much better off with an opportunity where the investment is 1 or 2 thousand that you can start generating cash within days or weeks, than with a cheaper investment that won�t show a return for months or years of any significance.
