| Early Days Monica & Chandler have been a couple since the beginning of Series 5, where they were nearly caught in the bath together by Joey. Only for Joey to discover after Chandler & Monica come back from a secret weekend away together from Atlantic City This lead to Joey's torment of been accused of trying to video tape him & his date. Getting caught with a naked picture of Monica and all Joey could say was "I'm Joey, I'm disguisting!" and his underwear been under Monicas couch when really it was Chandlers. It backfired in the end for the couple as to get Joey of the hook they told the group that Monica & Joey had slept together in London, luckily Ross was drugged at the time so there was no hard feelings. The rest of the group didn't find out till Series 5 Episode 14 where Phoebe decides to play a game on them, where Phoebe starts flirting with Chandler only to FREAK him out. This leads to the rest of the group finding out except Ross who finds out later where he sees them from his apartment having sex on the window and then he FREAKS OUT. In the end he's pleased his best friend and sister are TOGETHER. Chandler Moves In Chandler moving in was a bit of a shock to everyone with his lack of commitment. But he decides to ask Monica if he can move in just after they had celebrated their 1-year Anniversary In Las Vegas. They agree he can move in and they decide that Rachel will have to move out, this leads to rows over what to do with the spare bedroom Chandler wants a game room and Monica wants a nice pretty bedroom for guest that live across the corridor. On the last night Joey and Chandler are room mates they play some cards games that Chandler invents so he can give Joey money so he can pay the bills and Joey doesn't realise, this leads to the invention of 'cups'. Monica and Rachel decide to have a meal with Phoebe included that they can't go, as Rachel hasn't packed so Monica's mission is to get Rachel's things packed. Only they start fighting over the good old times but in the end Phoebe sorts them out and Rachel goes to live with Phoebe. Monica & Chandler Get Engaged Monica & Chandler get engaged at last this was what everyone was waiting for but nothing could go according to the plan. When Chandler & Phoebe decide to go ring shopping which was not Chandlers wish but only because she walked in on him looking at ring leaflets in the toilet. When he decides on a ring he cant pay for it as Joey's got his credit card but not to worry Phoebe can guard the ring in the shop while Chandler goes to get his card of Joey. While Phoebes in the shop she decides to try on everything from a T-ara to a war musket. Only while she is doing this someone else buys the ring she is supposed to be guarding. When Chandler gets back the ring is gone. He buys another that looks like a gumball machine. Only later to say she knows where the other ring buyer is going to propose so they go to the restaurant and with much persuasion they get the 1940's ring. Then when he intends to propose everything goes wring as Monica's ex-boyfriend Richard (Tom Selleck) goes to where she works offering Marriage and Children, Monica tells Richard to go as she is in love with Chandler, Richard says he only go if he knows Chandlers offering what he's offering. As Chandler thinks Monica is onto he needs to through her off track he does this but Monica gets upset and goes to Richards. Chandler thinking everything is OK finds out Monica's gone to Richards and finds out what Richards offering he grabs the ring and runs to Richards. When he gets there Monica's gone he discovers Monica was there but nothing was sure. He gets back to the apartment only to be told by Joey that Monica's GONE. He starts to cry and goes inside to find Monica there with candles light. They both begin to cry and in the end he manages to propose. |
