Capital Conquest 03
Capital Conquest 03, a five-event martial arts showcase took place in Hull/Ottawa Ontario, Canada � November 8th & 9th , 2003 at the Robert Guertin Arena.
The 1,200 people who attended Capital Conquest were able to improve their martial art ability by learning new techniques and trying different martial art styles during the numerous workshops and demonstrations taught by expert martial artists from around the world. The World Kobudomania Show included an awesome and spectacular show of demos from Europe and North America.
"The goal of the Capital Conquest is to gather teachers and performers to share the knowledge that we have," said John Therien, a martial arts instructor and event organizer. "It gives us a chance to display some of the best martial arts performers."
Several martial artists from the Jing Mo Kung Fu Club in Toronto were invited to teach some workshops and to demonstrate their expertise at the Kobudomania show. These members included Sifu Glen Doyle, Sifu Dave Ellsmere, Sifu John Rivers and Elvis Stojko.
