| William Francis Dunbar (1847-1942) Enlisted March 31, 1864, in Mt. Sterling, Missouri County, IL, at the age of 16. He enlisted with Company H of the 72nd Illinois Volunteers, he was transfered to Company C of the 33rd Illinois Infantry. He received gunshot wounds to the thigh on February 15, 1865. Honorably discharged at Vicksburg, Mississippi on November 24, 1865. He was the last living Civil War veteran from DuPage County, IL. |

| David Lee Parsons (1839-1872) Enlisted August 1st, 1862 in Grayson County, Virgina, at the age of 22. Served in Company I of the 51st Virgina Infantry. |
| John Wilburn Parsons (1818-1900) Enlisted in 1862 at the age of 43. Served in Company C of the 8th Virgina Calvary. |

| Charles Lewis (1836~1865) Served in Company C of the 9th Kentucky Infantry. Died in battle or from wounds sustained in battle sometime before the end of the war no exact year has not yet been given. |
| Jonathan L Hampton (1818-abt 1878) Enlisted at Livingston, Overton County, Tennessee on August 1, 1861 at the age of 42. Served in Company D of the 25th Infantry Regiment. He was discharged under the Conscript act of 1862. Info on his regiment is located here. |
