Orange Cake " This is a super moist and rich cake. You will love it! " Ingredients 1/2 cup butter 3/4 cup white sugar 2 egg yolks 2 egg whites 1 cup self-rising flour 2 tablespoons grated orange zest 1/2 cup fresh orange juice 1 pinch salt Directions 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).Grease one 8 inch round cake pan. Sift flour and salt together and set aside. 2 Cream butter, sugar and grated rind until light and fluffy. 3 Add egg yolks one at a time, beating well. 4 Fold in sifted flour and salt, alternating with orange juice. 5 In another bowl, whisk egg whites until stiff and add a pinch of salt. Fold whisked egg whites into the mixture. 6 Turn mixture into cake pan and bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean.
