Baked Apple-Pecan Maple Pancakes
" These pancakes have the maple syrup baked right inside of them! Add more if you really like maple syrup. "
Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups ready-made pancake batter 2 tablespoons butter, melted 1 cup sliced green apples 1/3 cup chopped pecans 3 tablespoons real maple syrup 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon Directions: 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2 Pour melted butter in 9-inch pie plate. Place apple slices in bottom of pie plate; sprinkle cinnamon and pecans and drizzle syrup over apples; carefully pour batter on top. 3 Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 35 minutes or until top springs back when touched. Loosen edges and invert onto serving plate. Cut in wedges and serve with warm maple syrup and/or fresh apple butter. Good served with sausage links. Makes 4 to 6 |
