| Sapphires come in all colors exept for red. They are made of corundum, the same as ruby. Sapphire's chemical formula is Al2 O3. The blue color of most sapphires comes from Titanium and Iron traces in the stones chemical formula. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| There are many legends associated with sapphire. The most common one is that the sky is a great blue sapphire that the world is embeded in.
