Mom had dog agility after work today but she rode me anyway out of desperation. It's been raining so much and the ground has been so wet, that we couldn't practice. She lunged me first and I pertended I was on a race twack, I wan and wan and wan. Then it was almost too dark to ride but she did it anyway. I was too tired and stubborn, I didn' wanna do nothin. Mom's more stubborner though, she wouldn't let me go back to the barn till we complished somethin. We trotted some circles until I trotted them calmly. That's all we had time for.

Back in the barn mom got the clippers out to make me look pretty. She clipped the longish hair on top of my head that always gets in the way of my halter. Then I wanted the hairs on my chin & nose clipped, so she did that. Momma Jessie was watching closely she wanted to be clipped too. Mom just wanted to clip her bridlepath but she demanded to have her nose & chin clipped! Then mom decided she might as well keep going and do Shy (which she quite enjoyed). We all like the clippers, they are so much fun and they make us all pretty. Mom always likes to brag that she doesn't even have to put halters on us.
