Me
   My name is Lisa MacDonald, I am 27 years old and live in Nova Scotia, Canada.  I am a veterinary assistant and a certified Equine Canada Level 1 Western Coach.  I took the C.E.F. Western Coaching and Rider Development program at Olds College (Alberta) in 1999 and I apprenticed (giving lessons & training) at McInnis Quarter Horses (Nova Scotia) as a working student in 2000.  I am not currently in the business of giving riding lessons and training horses, as I am still looking for a farm to buy.  I am also attuned to Reiki Master Level and am interested in natural medicine (homeopathy, essential oils, LED therapy).  I have Light Force Therapy equipment and am willing to give treatments to horses, dogs, cats, & humans if there is interest.

    I have shown horses in the Annapolis Valley and on the South Shore at open shows, exhibitions, and at Appaloosa breed shows.  I currently own three horses: a solid Appaloosa mare, JESS Chicken - (Jessie); her son JESS Rock Me (Martie); and another Appaloosa mare, Suns Chic Sierra (Shy).  I mainly just show Jessie but I hope to show the other two occasionally.

I am taking dog agility classes with my Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Mandie and we might try a competition in the near future.  She loves it!

    I am currently a member of the Nova Scotia Equestrian Federation, Equine Canada, the Appaloosa Horse Club of Nova Scotia, the Appaloosa Horse Club of Canada, The Appaloosa Horse Club (USA), Valley Reiners.
