Epsiode 50: Joe's Battle
The children leave the place where they had fought Machinedramon, and they finish climbing Spiral Mountain. There they come across Ladydevimon, the last enemy before facing Peidmon. Sora, TK, Patamon, and Birdramon leave to try and find Matt, Mimi and Joe. Gatomon Digivolves into Angewoman to fight Ladydevimon. They trade remarks about each other:
"Come here Blondie" ~Ladydevimon (about Angewomon)
"She looks like a witch" ~Kari (about Ladydevimon)
are just some of the remarks they say about each other. Mimi and Joe come across Primary Village (the place where all Digimon are born) and see find Electmon, who is playing Matt's harmonica. He found it by the beach. After hearing this, Joe decides to go off by himself, since Mimi already had a lot of people travelling with them. (Ogremon, Frigimon, Meramon, Electomon, lots of Otamamon, and Gekomon to name a few.) Joe and Gomamon cross the river, in search of Matt. Megakabutarimon helps out Angewoman and together they defeat Ladydevimon. They see Piedmon walking toward them so Agumon Warp Digivolves into Wargreymon and awaits Piedmon.

Episode 51: The Creat Of Friendship
Matt and Gabumon are wandering around in a dark cave. Gabumon helps Matt realize that the cave was created by the darkness in Matt's heart. The cave disappears after Matt got rid of the dark feelings. Joe sees Matt and then they see TK, who tells them that Sora is at the bottom of a cave. They see that Sora is in the same type of cave that Matt was in. When they convince her that the fate of the world doesn't rest on her shoulders, the cave disappears. They travel back to the castle. They see that Tai and Wargreymon are still battling Piedmon, without much luck. Matt's Creast Of Frindship revives Wargreymon and together Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon fight Piedmon.

Episode 52: Piedmon's Last Jest
Just when everything is going well, Piedmon takes out a white cloth. He throw it over Tai, Matt, Wargreymon, and Metalgarurmon. They turn into keychains! The other Digidestined (except mimi, because she hasn't arrived yet.) run from Piedmon. The Digidestined are turned into kaychains one by one. Joe, Tentomon, Izzy, then Garudimon and Angewomon. Suddenly all the Digidestined that are left are Sora, Gomamon, Kari, TK and Patamon. Sora decides to try and distract Piedmon, while the others get away, but Gomamon didn't want that to happen and stays with Sora. He manages to get one keychain off Piedmon, Matt's. He tosses it to Tk just as he himself and Sora are turned into keychains. TK and Kari try climbing a rope, but Piedmon comes after them. He grabs TK's leg. He trlls Kari to let go, but she refuses. Patamon Digivolves into Angemon and tries to fight Piedmon, but is thrown to the ground. Just then Piedmon cuts the rope TK and Kari are on. They fall and TK almost gives up hope, but then he hears Matt's voice telling him to keep going. Angemon Digivolves into Magnangemon and catches TK and Kari. Maganangemon restores all the Digidestined and Mimi comes, with all her friends. Magnangemon defeats Piedmon, the last of the Dark Masters. The Digidestined are overjoyed until they recieve an email from Genni saying that the evil that created the Dark Masters is still out there and that is their next enemy.
