Epsiode 27: The Gateway To Home
Genni talks to them again, this time telling them that there is an Eighth Digidestined Child that Myotismon plans to get rid of. The Eighth Child is still in the Real World, so Myotismon plans to go after "him". (At this point they always refer to the Eighth Child as a boy, but it's really a girl.) They go to Myotismon's Castle where Myotismon has already gone through the gate to the "Real World" and gets Gatomon to fight them, unfortuantely Gatomon goes through the gate and it slams in their faces.

Episode 28: It's All In The Cards
Genni gives them Speical Cards. These Cards open up the Gate to the "Real World", but there is only one problem with that, Genni gave them one card too many. Tai suggests that they try them all until they get the right combination, but Genni says that there are many worlds, and they could wind up anywhere if they do that. They go to the Castle and are attacked, Tai they manage to figure out what Cards go where, except which one is the fake. Tai makes a decision, He uses the Gomamon Card, and keeps the Agumon Card (The fake, remember this), they manage to get through to the "Real World".

Useless Info: Remember which of the Cards is Fake, because in Season Two there is a scene where the Cards are used again, but they use the Fake and wind up in another world.
Episode 29: Return To Heighton View Terrace
The Digidestined pretend that their Digimon are stuffed animals. The children conclude that they all saw the monster attack at Heighton View Terrace and that must be how they became Digidestined and they think that the Eighth Child must have seen it too. TK and Matt make up a sappy story on why they want the bus to drop them off at Heighton View Terrace. Then they find out that the Eighth Child is probably no longer living there.

Episode 30: Almost Home Free
The Digidestined want to return to their homes, which are across town. They spent all their money on food, then they are given a ride by Sora's cousin. They are attacked by a Digimon named Gesomon and after they defeat him ride back on Ikkakuamon.

Epsiode 31: The Eighth digivice
The children return home and Kari's cat knocks her Digivice out the window. After a series of events a crow manages to get it. Izzy gets a message from Genni telling him about a Digimon named Raremon. He tries to call the others, but he couldn't get a hold of anyone. So he goes out by himself. He gets a signal from Kari's Digivice and he and Demidevimon chase the signal until it disappears. Kabutarimon defeats Raremon.
