Dear grandad The years where have the gone The time when I last saw you Seems so very very long. The memories are still fixed firmly in my mind The love you showed me could never be erased by time. You were so gentle warm and kind More perfect a grandfather you could not find. We had something special you and I We laughed together talked and shared The qualities I saw in you To find them now are very rare. You grandad were a real man And I still feel the warmth from the Very last time I held your hand. You fought so hard and held on tight I did not want to let you go However, I knew you had to lose this fight. I watched you slowly drift away You found your freedom finally that day No longer struggling for each breath With a little smile on your face You left. I love you and I miss you xxxx Rest forever in peace Fly free with the angels We will meet again. Written by Tracey Mansfield for a perfect sweet granfather. |
