In 1832, John Harris bought land in London, Ontario, and over the next two years had a home built on the property for his family. The Harrises moved into Eldon House in 1834, and the next four generations of the family lived in the house until the 1960s, when John's great-grandchildren donated the house and surrounding property to the City of London. The house is now open to the public as a museum. The following are some pictures from the Harris family's collection.
