I wanted to express to everyone just how deep my X-Files obsession goes so other fans don't feel as freakish about their own obsessions with the show. :) I'm planing on scanning pictures of the things I have collected over the years. I curious to see what other people have done in honor of the show.  If you want to tell me and others about your obsession Email Me and I will post your message on this site.
Here is a little bit of information about my collection and obsession:
1. I have every episode taped.  I have watched the show since the pilot episode and started taping around season 5.  Since then I have gotten every episode and caught the rest on reruns.
2. I have all the DVD sets that are out so far and am planning on buying the rest as soon as they are released. I also have most of the VHS box sets but I quit buying them when they released the DVDs.
3. I have all the books.
4. I have a ton of magazines and TV guides featuring the X-Files. Basically anytime I saw them on the cover I bought the magazine. I have most of the Official Magazines as well.
5. I have Fight the Future in every format possible; DVD, VHS, audio book, novel, childrens novel, picture book, behind the scenes, official collectors cards, and official magazine.
6. The first day that Fight the Future came out in theaters me and my X-Files friends got together early in the day and went shopping.  We bought T-Shirts, alien necklaces, face paint, rings, and just about anything else 'alien' we could find and wear to the movie.  We arrived at the theater two hours early before the first showing.  Suprisingly only about a half hour later a few other X-Files fans started showing up.  Pretty soon the parking lot was crowded with fans arriving early for the first showing. EVERYONE there was there to see The X-Files!! We were all freaking out and talking about the show.  We started quoting the show and telling stories.  It was so much fun.  The doors finally opened and we were all let in. We all packed into the lobby like sardeens. I ended up going to the show I think 5 times in the theater and kept all my ticket stubs.
7. I have ALL of the official collectors cards from Fight the Future including two of the six special heat sensitive cards.  I bought an entire box of cards at the mall and have them all displayed in a carrying case. One of them I actually got autographed by Dean Haglund!.
8. I have almost 3 gig of X-Files stuff on my computer, which I have shared among other fans. This stuff includes ALL of the blooper reels from seasons 1 - 6, tons of pictures, sounds, videos, music and music videos made for the show or about the actors, desktop stuff, entire episodes, etc...
9. I started collecting items to remind me of episodes which I keep in a little box.  For example: to commemorate Bad Blood I have one of those plastic thingys from the center of a pizza, and to commemorate Dreamland I took a penny and cut it in half and glued it to a dime so it looked like the melded change from the gas station that Mulder gave the store owner. I actually found another fan that had done something like this.  She had found a dead bee and put it in a little vial like the bee that stung Scully in FTF.
10. I have the Scully tatoo on my lower back. (See pictures below)
11. I made an X-Files website! :) Duh...
12. I am an artist and the X-Files are one of my favorite subjects to draw.
13. I've completely memorized many episodes, especially Memento Mori.
14. I am instant best friends with anyone I meet that is an X-Files fan.  For some reason I just feel like I can trust them... :)
15. I'm writing a fanfic!! (I will have that posted on my site shortly)
16. Sometimes I think my boyfriend reminds me of Mulder. (Scary)
17. I don't read many books but I can read fanfic all night long.
18. I got my hair cut like Scully's from season 6 and 7.
19. I have all the action figures for Fight the Future.
20. Trustno1 is my favorite password to use.
21. Dean Haglund recently came to Bemidji, MN (where I live) and did a comedy routine. If you ever get the opportunity to see his act GO. Its hilarious! He signed several things for me. I have them scanned in and posted but I haven't gotten my photos developed yet. I'll post them when I have them. He was really down to earth. I bought him a Gin and Tonic and he accepted it but said, "Thank you very much that's so sweet.  I don't drink but I just soak my fingers in it or something."  :) hehe  He's really funny. We talked quite a bit. He did two shows during the weekend and I went to both. At like 1:00 in the morning he came back through the bar we were in and saw me at a table and said "See ya later April! It was nice meeting you!"
I had such a good time. Check out the pics below...
