So we played my (Ted) graduation party two days ago. All I need to say is that we haven't practiced since the show on May 31. We were a bit rusty. It was a fun show though. The audience ranged from 10 - 5 people. Weak. A big thanks to Gary... I mean Nick Durivage for being the only one to really watch us. We played every song we know and the latter half of the set we actually started sounding very good. Other than that no big plans for the boys in Liquid Tone. Stay cool in this summer heat and remember, Saturday night is fighting night! What?

Hey rockers, Segue was a blast. Blackwater Voodoo Club opened and rocked the house. They did a great job. We did pretty good as well. I, Ted, played one of my best shows. Big thanks to Mike Johnson Blackwater's drummer for saving the day when I broke my drum stool. Mike lent me his for the night. Thanks to the entire Blackwater Voodoo Club for playing with us too. Check out there website on the links page. We opened with one of the three new songs, Traveling Band. Then when I jumped off my stool at the end of It's Your Loss one of the stool legs fell apart. Luckily, I wasn't hurt. We ended with Purple Haze, including my newly added drum solo in the middle, then went into the surprise song Back In Black. Only and few people new we were doing it and when Jason played the first lick the place went crazy. We finally ended with our new original, Third Hour of the Afterlife. All in all it went pretty well. However, Jason's clean speaker was blown so he has to play distorted the entire set. It still rocked though. Our next show is my graduation party at my dad's house. Talk to us if you want to come. Cause I'm back in black, yes I'm back in black!

Wow, it has been a while. We are now playing Traveling Band by CCR and slowly learning Dazed and Confused by the almighty Led Zepplin. Dazed may take a while and that is if we continue to try. If not, oh well. Check out some new pics. Segue is less than a month a way. We are playing with Blackwater Voodoo Club. They are an incredible blues rock band out of Brooklyn Park. Ted used to work with their drummer. Make sure to come see them too. And remember, I wanna rock n roll all night and party every day!

Check out the shows page for some newly announced shows. We have a new song we're working on entitled "Third Hour of the Afterlife." It has a real Led Zepplin feel to it. That's it, so keep ROCKIN'!

Hello loyal Liquid Tone fans. I only have a few things to say about the Rock the House Show. The gymnasium has horrible accoustics, the community center staff doesn't know how to run a concert, we were cut off short and we all left fairly mad. On the flip side, however, I would like to thank everyone in the crowd. Your reaction was incredible. We are currently perfecting our originals and eventually going to work on our demo. Rock, as always, on!

Hey, sorry I haven't updated in a while. We made it into the talent show and played at Coronation on Feb. 5. We played a very rockin' version of Sweet Home Alabama, and mellow versions of Sunshine and It's Your Loss when people were leaving. The night was filled with major problems, but we played around it and managed to sound pretty good. I hope you're all coming to the show on the 21. Check the shows page for more. In the next month or two we are tweaking some songs and learning Running With The Devil. See you at the show, Rock Rock Till You Drop!

We tried out for the school talent show today. We played Sweet Home Alabama. More on that later. We have a show coming up on February 21 at the Maple Grove community center. Come check us out. Nothing else is new, so keep on rockin me babe!

Hey all, nice of you to check back. Well first off, Segue went extremely well except some minor annoyances. We played a very, very solid show. The crowd was super cool, everyone played good. I was wearing my spankin new Liquid Tone shirt. They will be available soon, so check back. Now the bad things of the show. I had planned to play keyboard a little; too bad the keyboard just stopped working. The other band, Small Towns Burn a Little Slower, had some crap going on and made us cut the show short. We had to skip "Pride and Joy." Then they rushed us off the stage and in the hustle my drum key was lost. For a few minutes I was furious until I found that Jason had it. Thanks to Segue for everything. The intermission at the One Act's was okay. The intermission started at 8:15. Jason worked in Minnetonka until 8:00. This was tuff. Well, thanks to a whole lot of speeding and Alex Clark, for filling time with a few piano songs, we were able to pull something off. We played Sweet Home and Purple Haze. Sorry to anyone who was there if we played too loud. Steve was a phenom. All the actors were unbelieve. We're hedding back to school; auditioning for the Snow Daze talent show. Hope we make it and rock on.

First off, happy new year and apologies for not updating recently. The holiday season was busy for us. We have two shows coming up. The first, I like to call Segue III. It's at the Segue Cafe in Zachary Square, Maple Grove, on Saturday, January 18th at approx. 8:00. It's a free show and all ages. The other show is during intermission of the "One Acts" of the senior high. This one takes place on Tuesday, January 21 at 8:30 in Maple Grove Senior High in the hall near the auditorium. Steve is acting in the One Acts. The cost for the entire thing is $5.00. Segue III should be a great show with our longest set yet. We are playing all of our old ones, adding in 4 new songs and 2 half songs. There will also be a couple of surprises. After the two shows we plan to record the much anticipated Liquid Tone demo CD. So my final thoughts, Liquid Tone hopes to step up and achieve great success in 2003. Rock and roll!

We are "trying" to write a new song. This one will be a little different than our others. I am adding a keyboard/synthesizer intro. Time will only tell how well it goes. Other than that we are just getting ready for Segue on January 18. Keep on rockin!

Hey yall. Segue went okay. We were definately lacking without Steve. Jason sang well though. People especially liked his voice on Sweet Home Alabama. Thanks to Segue and to everyone who came to the show. Big thanks to Ansell for taping the show. New pics will be up soon, I promise. Keep on rockin and happy turkey day.

Show at Segue on Saturday. Yes, this Saturday the 23rd. Segue needed someone to play because someone cancelled. Only one problem, Steve is in the school musical when we're supposed to play. So we will do our best with an instrumental show. Be there or else...Rock On and see ya Saturday at Segue. Check shows page for more info.

We had band practice last night. We're coming along with "Foxy Lady." I don't think it's our best song, but we have fun with it. And hey it's a new song. That doesn't happen much. There is so many things I'd like to do with the band, but I'm unsure if I/we will ever get a chance to do them. We are playing at Segue on January 18, 2003. I had put the 19th a while ago but it is really the 18th. Slave Raider, Steel Heart, and Nick Durivage Rock!

What's new? Not much. Steve is very busy with the school musical. Last Monday Jason and I went to Dunn Brothers and Segue looking for gigs. Check out shows for more info. Stuff is slow and we'll try to learn new songs but I'm sure you know how that goes. Rock on!
October 28, 2002
Yesterday we had band practice. We changed "It's Your Loss" a little bit, and learned a new song. The song..."Foxy Lady," by none other than Jimi Hendrix. We definately need to work on it more, but hopefully we will play at upcoming shows. Speaking of upcoming shows we are still trying to get a hold of Segue for a return show. Right now I am remembering that I was supposed to call tonight and now it's too late. I am such a drummer! And whenever we make a demo tape we'll hopefully get a show at Dunn Brothers on mainstreet Grove. Sorry about any problems with the site. Screw the Quest pics will be up soon. Rock, as always, On!
What Used to be new before this.
