DATE: pencils & inks- Summer of 1996; colors- Spring 2001 DESCRIPTION: This picture of Wolverine was inspired by Joe Maduria's art style. I'm not pleased with my coloring at all; I inked it with the intent of having a light source behind his back, yet I colored the front with a strong light on it as well. The blue as well looks too purple; It looked much better in Photoshop. From now on I'll test my colors outside of the program before I select them. MEDIUM: #2 Pencil for the initial sketch, Pilot V5-ball and a Sharpey for the inks. Colors were done on Photoshop 5.0 |
