Location: Punggol Beach, Singapore
On a weekend I headed for the small beach at Punggol. There was a passing shower but after which the sky became clear, and the rays of sunlight created glaring conditions that made me squint. The beach became an endless stretch of sand and rock.
It was quiet and somehow beautiful, but I needed to look for something more interesting. Then I spotted a small, salt-encrusted seedling growing in an almost non-existent space between two boulders. Despite its size it seemed very resilient. The tiny plant reminded me of how much more I could accomplish, if only I had a bit more Faith.
