Towards the end of the wedding dinner there was a grand toast to a
happy marriage and longevity. It also signalled the end of a long and
elaborate wedding ceremony. At this time I thought I could see the
fatigue in the eyes of this couple, but it was a tremendous night
indeed.
There were plenty of other people on the stage at this time besides the
couple, but I decided to focus on the bride and groom only. The number
of viewpoints at this time was limited and I was caught in a small
space between those on the stage and the others in the function room. I
decided to squat low not only to keep out of the way, but to obtain an
interesting perspective of this scene. Focus was placed on the
champange glasses to emphasize the significance of this toast.
