Music from Ys

Midi files are smaller and thus download much sooner, whereas MP3 files require more time to download. I placed them, more or less, in my order of preference. But if you want, you can download the MIDI's first and listen to them while downloading the Mp3's. Right-click them and save them to your (hard) disk, or if you have the right plugin (Quicktime, Windows Media Player, et cetera), then just click on them to listen to them.

My favourites are: Ys1 opening music (both), Ys2 opening music, A Still Time...

Ys1 Opening Music (MSX)
Ys1 Opening Music (Nintendo Entertainment System)
Ys1 Field Music
Ys1 Music
Ys2 Opening Music
Ys2 Ending Music, "A Still Time"
Ys2 Town Music
Ys2 Opening(/Ending?) Music, interesting version
Ys4 Field Music

If you're curious about how I made these files, for the mp3's that are directly from the games, I used paraMSX's wave record function to record Ys1 (and then an mp3 ripper to transfer it from wave to mp3), and did likewise with FCEU's wave record function to make ys1nes.mp3.
